One can get completely lost in RT Facts - in the best way! The vast showroom has almost more than you can see in one visit - and on every visit (go often) there is something fresh and distinctive added to the studio. From antique garden benches and containers to contemporary gesso chandeliers designed by the in-house team, Natalie and Greg set their design store apart with their own brand of quirky chic. Artfully curated and displayed, the eclectic furniture, lighting and home accessories are arranged to feel like an antique salon or a cabinet of curiosities. RT Facts is the secret you need to make your home and garden look like got first pick of every estate sale and fabulous flea market ('cuz they really did)!!

R. T. Facts in Kent curates a truly unique collection of anything you might consider art. You’ll find most anything you can imagine, and even things you couldn’t imagine, in this expansive 8,000 square foot barn space. They have things like nowhere else in the world. You’ll find pieces from all over the world, from different time periods, and from different medium. Most of their items emphasize either ‘found’ or ‘designed.’ Some of the things that caught my eye: a 19th Century continental library ladder, a handmade birch bark canoe, a 19th Century Chinese cast iron tub, a fully reconstructed cow skeleton painted in all white, a 19th Century carved wood life-size track horse display, an antique rosato marble bathtub, and a monumental carved wood clock sculpture. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Even if you have no intention of buying anything, you can marvel at their collection of artifacts.

A stunning, airy, impeccably curated store for important monumental antiques and collected 20th century furniture and decor + their own line of handmade quality furniture. The prices are very high (as they should be in this case).

Natalie & Greg R., and the RT Facts team in Kent are extraordinary. Their top notch education, natural and dynamic styles, and authentic spirit make everything they intuit incredibly artful, beautiful and meaningful. I couldn't find a better team, to procure and develop the important, heirloom elements that furnish my lifestyle. They are the real deal. Natalie and Greg's talents are being passed on to their incredible children, in craftsmanship skills, and deep appreciation and facility with the earth, and natural materials. I am a local resident and have always admired their style, true grit, and now this awesome Design & Antiques shop and experience-- a flourishing chef d'oeuvre!

I moved to the area over ten years ago and stumbled across R.T. Facts as I drove by the "Shop" space on South Main street and nearly caused an accident ... from the awe of what I saw out in front of the building! - the most magnificent ginormous armillary and giant zinc wall plaques and statues! Since that day I always find the time to stop in and browse through the incredible finds that they have eclectically procured. The additional gorgeous gallery space at 8 Old Barn Rd does wonders in showcasing the talents of the design and craftsmanship of their locally made furnishings - tables, mirrors and lighting mixed with the rare and unique antiquities and modern finds. When I needed a really unique architectural piece in a recent 18th century renovation project - I knew exactly where to find what I was looking for - and I DID! Thank you :-)

"Greg and Natalie Randall opened R.T. Facts in the old Town Hall of Kent, Ct in 1992. Greg’s background is in Sculpture, art history, 18thc century English furniture and architecture while Natalie hails from the world of fashion design . Each having a passion for the arts, they consider the store as their unique creative outlet. The merging of their distinct personalities and tastes is what really makes R.T. Facts stand apart. They started their business selling garden and architectural antiques. They have since branched out to inclide furniture and lighting and also design a line of tables and mirrors. They specialize in fusing classical and modern industrial to create strikingly original furniture."
