Ace Hardware of Kent

By far the best hardware store in the region. Amazingly high stock levels and helpful staff. Always fun to wander around the store. The things you find! Great experience and nice people too.

Amazing store! The went above and beyond to help us! We once lost something here and they kept it so we could come back and get it! Top notch service!

Excellent hardware store! The staff is very friendly and helpful. (They once went into the basement to pull out a hose spray handle for me when I needed one in January—the definitely go above and beyond.) For a small space they stock a large inventory and are happy to special order something for you if they don’t carry it. Love that they’re a Benjamin Moore paint retailer, too. Kent wouldn’t be as great and convenient of a town without ACE!

P.S. The two cats that live in the store, Harley and Nugget, are always a hit with my son, too. Shoutout to Shelby for luring Nugget out of the basement with catnip on several occasions for my son’s viewing pleasure. 😂

Here’s the thing - if you’re going to be a miserable, entitled customer who takes their problems out on everyone else, don’t whine in a review when someone doesn’t get pushed around by you. Be a decent, kind human being and you’ll have a great experience! Life’s tough enough so quit making your problems the employee’s problems.

Still an awesome hardware store! The managers and staff go way above and beyond to help customers and they are extremely knowledgeable. Hubby and I go there frequently and my goodness, they are almost like family! 😊

Great store! ALWAYS has what I need! If they dont,they can order it and it comes in pretty quickly. Store is neat, organized and clearly marked to easily find what you need. Employees are so friendly and helpful. After not having had a hardware store in town for a while since the last owners closed, this is a very welcome addition!

Everyone is very helpful! I was proud to show off my completed home project to Brandon and Melissa.

They also recently had a grilling demo, and on top of feeding us lunch, answered all my spouse's questions about the combo grill/smokers.

I love these guys! They always have what I need. I’m so grateful that I don’t have to venture far to Mew Milford and go into a massive store. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and they really go above and beyond in offering a large variety of items for small town shop.
