As a top producer of luxury real estate in the Litchfield Hills of CT, I LOVE this quaint sandwich shop because I can sit down, use their WiFi, grab a delicious chicken sandwich and chat with my out-of-town clients discussing their needs for a vacation home or a corporate move to Kent, CT. I LOVE the staff especially HANNAH - she's so friendly! Don't forget to grab a few cookies to go! They are so DELICIOUS!

Cute, little gem along the way to Kent Falls. We stopped in to grab a bite to eat. Very friendly service with lots of great options for sandwiches, bakery goods, drinks, chips, even burgers and bowls.

The people that work here are as great as the food is. I order breakfast burrito with pommpos frites (don’t judge my crazy combo). Delicious. The lady at the register went out of her way to help me and my ride around the construction going in front of the store. I’ve been dealing with a leg injury for the past year and just graduated to a cane.

J.P. Giffords is one of those solid places that you can always count on a great meal with fantastic service. Today was no exception to that statement! Tried their chicken cutlet with apple (I forget the rest) but it was a solid 10/10! Their other offerings are great as well, the burgers and pad thai are great choices!
But the thing that put me over the top today was the chocolate chip cookie! Not knowing me this may not sound like much but that cookie was easily in the top 3 best I've ever had!
Will be back for more cookies and more great sandwiches as well!

Delicious--highly recommend for great sandwiches, baked goods, and lunches!

The restaurant was happily busy when we arrived for lunch. There was plenty of outside seating as well as indoors. The menu had so many tantalizing items on it that it was hard to choose. I ordered a bbq burger and noticed that I wasn't asked how I wanted it done. The burger was excellent and my father enjoyed his generously sized BLT sandwich.

We get sandwiches from here 3x a week, and its the best! Amazing food, never disappoints. The cookies are divine, love the coffee, and sometimes get the mac n cheese as well - everything is great! Love this spot!!

The start to a perfect morning:
1. Order an all-American wrap with hot sauce and avocado.
2. Retrieve order.
3. Shut up.
4. Eat.
5. Smile.

When in Kent for repairs to my Volvo or Royal Enfield mods, JP Gifford should be your go to option for breakfast all day or wonderful luncheon treats. A stones throw from the Kent School, this treasured counter has something for everyone. Salads? Done. House made Roast Beef? Done. Avocado toast? Done. Definitely worth the visit.

Delicious sandwich, nice selection of fzn homemade soups & stews, large array of snacks, candy, cheeses & baked goods. Delightful, quick & safely laid out store & deli. Will come again.

This place has amazing vegetarian sandwiches! I recommend anyone traveling through town to stop by and try one even if you eat meat. They are truly fantastic. The prices aren't a far cry from Panera's and I will absolutely be back.

Came in there at quite a busy time, got the order in and received it quite fast.

It offers standard fare of lunch grinder shops however they are made from fresh and good quality ingredients. When they stray from usual they do so in interesting way resulting in tasty meal

At a glance, the menu looks simplistic but it's actually just very well labeled and descriptive in showing exactly what ingredients you're about to order but once you get your food, it's so well prepared and the mixtures of flavors in the signature items offered are fresh, rich, delicious

We’re from brooklyn visiting for the weekend and must say this was the best food we’ve had. My husband got a cheeseburger and I got beef and bean soup and it was SO Good! Simple yet so delish.. We will be stopping in again before we head back home!

Love their coffee, pastries, grab and go options and all the variety on the menu. The avocado toast is to die for! Service always quick and friendly.

Very good food. I love their burgers. Parking is a little scarce but is worth it, staff is nice.

Soup was great and the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Love the large casual tables, we met a nice man with his granddaughters and had a nice chat.

Friendly staff, local atmosphere and great food with vegetarian options. The Taziki sauce was incredible!

All-American wrap was delicious as was the avocado on toast. Friendly staff, proper COVID precautions. Limited operating hours.
