Kumo Sushi Restaurant

Tons of great selection for sushi. They don’t have the 50% off deal anymore but they have an unlimited sushi offer dine in only in lieu of that. If you want good fried rice they have the best chicken fried rice around in my opinion

I live in NY and still travel to CT to eat here because the sushi is soo fresh and the drinks are great. It is a place to try if your a sushi lover, or just want to try somewhere new!

Have been there a few times since my fiancé tried it. The food is a 5, so many delicious varieties. Definitely try the fried ice cream. It’s a great treat at the end of your meal. The price is great. Your money goes far here. There has been a long wait each time so that’s why I gave it a 4. They do a lot of takeout so it causes the dining room to wait. The waitresses always apologize and comp us with an appetizer or dessert. I’ve never said anything, they try to keep the customers happy. Restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend if in the area.

Came back since my last review and had to make this one a 5 star. Same great food with same great prices. The service was much faster this time. Apparently I’ve been here so many times the hostess knows me now. Appetizer was fried calamari with some kind of spicy dip. Not only did it taste amazing, it was at the table in less than 10 minutes of ordering. Sushi came out shortly after. 5 star rolls as usual. We enjoyed our new favorite desert, fried ice cream. We cut back on the amount of rolls we order to ensure we can order the fried ice cream. Love the new game plan. My phone actually died on me while at the table. Our server took my phone and plugged it into her charger for a few minutes. That’s going above and beyond for the customers. If in New Milford or the greater Danbury area, Kumo is a must.

Great place, great food. Stumbled upon this place and it was awesome. Have gotten it probable 10 times the past month and a half. Love the Pineapple chicken and all the sushi

absolutely love kumos. whether im dining in or ordering takeout, the food always slaps & the staff is friendly/attentive. the ambiance matches. VERY affordable. only downside would b that it’s a little hidden at the plaza but that’s not their fault

Veggie Sushi for lunch picked up after ordering on door dash. The restaurant was clean, they were quick and it was fresh and tasty. Bonsai, Mango and Avocado, and Sweet potato Rolls in the photos attached. Spent about 15$ but if I had called it in probably could have gotten the 'Pick any 3' roll lunch for less.

My home away from home 🏡… that’s what I love about this place .. the servers treat you like they’re your family’s restaurant

Always very fresh, and very good selection/combinations in the rolls. There are a lot of options which I appreciate. The gyoza are also the best I’ve had in a while. My only regret is that I haven’t ordered them before now because wow, they were tasty. For sure the best sushi in town and maybe even in the greater Danbury area.

Who would have thought that there was such a wonderful place near a Wal-mart! Fabulous food! Friendly staff! We will be back!

Very good sushi, however, many times times that I’ve ordered takeout the wait it excessively long. For example, I placed my order online at 5:39p - was provided a 40 minute wait to pickup. The order wasn’t actually ready until 6:55p. Be advised.

I’m no sushi expert but was told by others in my dining party that the sushi was top quality. There was no shortage of variety and service was prompt, although for perspective I was not there at peak hours. Prices seemed reasonable.

Sushi was really good, fresh and beautifully displayed. Most rolls were 1/2 price too. Pleasantly surprised about the prices. These days you are usually paying twice as much. Our bill for 2, was under $55.

We had a nice quiet early dinner at lunchtime. It wasn't busy in the middle of a weekday afternoon and the food and service were excellent.

I love this place bc it is always easy to get my order in and take out and the food is always delicious and they have happy hour pricing, or lunch special pricing on their rolls. Il need to check into if they have that kind of happy hour as well

Always have a great experience with Kumo Sushi, whether it's taken out or dine in. Highly recommend and such a great location for a bite to eat while the kids or even yourself check out the stores near it.

We went on Christmas (so a little late in reviewing). Everything was fabulous. Being a snowy day with little expectations for anything decent to be open, it blew me away. Excellent, friendly service, yummy drinks and the food was delicious and fresh. We ordered a lot- a little of everything- sushi, handrolls, pad Thai, fried rice, soup and salad- all excellent. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas!

I always go here with my friends and each time it hits the mark perfectly!!The avocado is always creamy, riped to perfection and hits the palette smoothly every time:))and holy cow the Spicy Mayo is divine! Please everyone support them the quality is so luxurious for the price you pay❤

Tried Kumo tonight for the first time. As soon as we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautifully decorated it was. Nice, clean black & white dining room with the sushi bar at the far back of the restaurant. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in. Our food came out at a nice pace. We each had a delicious cup of miso soup and calamari rings for an appetizer. The soup was wonderful and the calamari was fresh and came served with a sweet dipping sauce. Our main courses were a spider roll, lobster tempura roll and a shrimp and vegetable tempura dinner. Everything was extremely delicious. I can't wait to go again. Welcome to the neighborhood Kumo!
