New Milford Police Department

Thank you Officer Rodriquez on assisting me with that beautiful dog today. The dog was located near the Windmill Diner and too close to the road. Officer Rodriquez assisted on slowing the traffic down. My wife Lisa and I want to thank the New Milford Police and wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

As a long time New Milford resident I have seen NMPD change and grow. I have to say that currently it is the best that I have ever seen. I love that my kids can see officers near the playground, in their schools, at local events. They are part of the community, and I feel very lucky to have them protecting us. Hats off to our amazing Chief and his team of brave officers.

The recently-created position Justin Cullmer has at the NM Police Department as Community Care Coordinator, is a first-ever in CT. It was established by the NM Police Chief and Mayor Pete Bass. Justin, who is readily reached by calling the Police Department, is there to access support resources/agencies at local, regional and state levels for vulnerable folks facing serious challenges, including homelessness, eviction, food insecurity, opioid and mental health issues. His quick, compassionate responsiveness and follow-through is impressive. I watched him respond to a single mother with three children facing potential eviction and was touched by his smarts, knowledge of who can help, and can-do efforts. Thank you to the Mayor and the Police Chief.

Would like to say thank you to all of The New Milford Police Officers for doing what they do and putting on the uniforms everyday to help keep the public safe. I really appreciate what you all do. I back the blue.

They came so quickly and thoroughly checked my property when my security camera noticed suspicious activity at my home! So kind and helpful!!!!! THANK YOU!

I have always seen them on the street in their vehicles passing , day or nights, or if any thing fixing on the road you will see them there Sometimes they pass around the hospital and the nursing home, they are always seen. They are supportive to their community . That is the most important thing. Hope they will continue their good work.

Some of the Dispatchers need some manners and compassion

Sargent Moe 186 accused amazon driver of stealing packages while on the job simply for the colour of his skin. I would not trust the authority or the integrity of the New Milford police department after this incident. 0/5 stars

Got into an accident, was told I would receive an email with the case information so I could get the damages repaired. They have refused to give me the records and the woman I spoke to from the records department was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me stating she was “too busy with customers” to help me.

I'm tired of my Ex wife using and abusing the New Milford and Bantam cant they see my she is Narcissitic, and has mentally ill. why do you and Bantam harrass us at late night hours waking my son 11 and since he was 8 traumatized with threats of arrest and then arrest hours later or same night. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT DOES TO CHILD and A SINGLE FATHER!! my son is now traumatized by officer 10/24/2017 April call to my house and hearing his father have to defend him self over a absolutiy bogus claim that I branded a gun threaten myt ex wife on school grounds 2 weeks ago in a main office where principles and cameras are. I've been falsely arrest 6 times in the last 3 year and al bogus and dropped. when is enough enough?? when will your department stand up and hold this women accountable for her false police claims? Not once was I asked to I want to press charges since state law say its a crime to false report?

Apparently the cops that work there are so dumb that they stop and harass Amazon drivers instead of finding and stopping criminals. Disgrace to the badge.

The officers took my keys out of my property without permission. Then lost them and refused to talk to me about this issue.
