Big Y World Class Market

This store has it all!! All of the employees are truly masters in their departments!! Eric and all of the butchers are fantastic, Jamie in the seafood department is amazing, the customer service team is so helpful and the checkout lines are always fast!! I love my Local Big Y!!!

I love shopping here. The displays are put together very nicely and I always end up buying more than I plan to. I don't say this about many grocery stores, but this one just has a nice vibe going.

I love this store. I love the fresh pastries and baguettes 🥖. I just tried the carrot cake from the bakery; it was so tasty and moist. Everyone in the seafood department is so nice. I recently ordered a sushi 🍣 party platter and I have to say it is was AMAZING!!! When placing the custom order I received excellent customer service. The sushi was beautifully presented; it was so fresh and delicious.

Great store, has almost everything you could need. Well stocked. The pharmacy is excellent.

Fruits and Vegetables are always fresh and a good selection of meats. The bakery is top notch as well. A big shout out to Ben who bags the groceries he is always so positive and polite.

Big Y is always well stocked, and it has a terrific seafood counter as well as a wonderful produce department. For example, we were able to purchase shiitake and oyster mushrooms in bulk at great prices while other supermarkets, if they carry them at all, have only shiitake mushrooms in minuscule 3 oz. packages at ridiculously expensive prices. The quality of the products at Big Y is great.

The hot food buffet dishes & trays are always replenished and full, and there's a terrific assortment of tasty dishes to choose from.

Always a good experience, fair prices considering today's economy. Store is kept pretty clean from the customer perspective. Much prefer this store over Stop and Shop.

I'm new to the area but lived in Norwalk many years ago. So I shopped at Stop and Shop back then. Was shopping here too, until now! The selection is amazing, the produce is so much better and I'm amazed by the prices considering how outstanding the selection and brands. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Update: love the store and the people!

I just called the seafood department with some rather dumb questions about frozen lobster tails. The young man who took my call was so friendly and polite - he had offered great information and was very patient and kind. It was very refreshing.

I'm new to this part of Connecticut, and this store has become my go-to for all my food. They have the nicest staff I've ever encountered in a grocery store. Everyone is helpful, and all the cashiers are friendly and efficient. The store is spotless, and their produce is always fresh. They have an awesome natural/organic section and carry several local products like Fox's sodas (which are amazing). There's also a great selection of prepared hot-foods and a nice offering at the bakery as well.

Very well stocked supermarket with fair prices and friendly staff. If you have a fondness for freshly baked donuts and other baked goods, they are really amazing! Also the deli-department is terrific with a lot of unusual dishes, a really amazing salad bar, and they make delicious pizzas by the slice or boxed, and I mean really delicious...better than many pizza parlors IMO.

Big y world class market is a very nice place to shop. You can variety of goods, vegetables, fruits, meat and ground produces and fish. The environment is clean, good parking space, cashier's are very pleasant, workers are all around you are not in a world by its self. Lot of sales, nice brands. Very nice place to shop . They are also using their CDC information. They sell plenty of sanitation things. They also have a lot of wood in stock.

Love the big Y. I've been shopping at this locale for 30 years in all 3 of its incarnations. The big Y crew for the most part have always been polite and helpful( there are always a few bad apples). Those that aren't seem to move on. The store is clean and well stocked. The managers know me I'm there so often which makes it feel more like home.

This is one of my favorite Big Y stores. Not sure why, but it is. Maybe it's the large produce section. I did some light shopping, but mostly was there to order fish and chips dinner to go. The fish was cooked correctly, there was plenty of fries; way too many actually, but i guess if you're a fry fan it was good. They also tasted reasonably good for frozen fries.

Bakery Department made a beautiful cake for my daughter's baby shower and it was very yummy.
