We lost power for a couple of days this winter and came to the market for supplies. They had sold out of hand warmers in the cold, but a staff member kindly gave me a set from her car. We were very cold and this selfless act truly made our day. We love this place!

Locally owned and operated. Amazing staff and help around every corner. You won't find the biggest selection here, but for essential needs, it's the best stop locally. Love the atmosphere and the people who work tirelessly to make sure you have a clean and organized store to stop in to!

For a town with a census of 3,578 in 2010, every resident is so fortunate for businesses such as The Washington Market who are committed to providing terrific service where the population is low. Much needed service. And, the fact that 3-generations have pledged to operate - is remarkable.

I've been shopping here for years and it is one of the nicest experiences I have as a shopper. Warm, friendly, helpful people add to the small town atmosphere and the service is perfection; ask for it, they'll find a way to get it for you. Passing through, stop in for a snack at the Deli counter - best turkey, tuna, coleslaw anywhere. In other words 5 star from start to finish!

This market is located in Washington Depot. There is plenty of parking by the store. While the store isn't large, it has always had everything I needed. The store is well organized, so finding everything on my list is never a problem.

Good little grocery store when you need something. It's close and local. Selection isn't amazing but it has the essentials. The deli is great. They make anything you want and have a lot of prepared foods on hand. Good meat department.
