Tre Scalini Restaurant

Absolutely amazing food and service! I had New York strip steak which was phenomenal..I can't speak highly enough about the service, our waiter was Jason whe was the best! Very knowledgeable and very attentive..would definitely recommend!

My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement here the evening of and had wonderful time. The quaint authentic Italian atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food left us with nearly nothing left to be desired. Our waitress was lovely and patient, and we never had to wait for a thing. Our experience was seamless, nothing rushed, just paced to perfection. I would like to personally thank the staff for rounding off our special day on a high note. Dinner was just what we were hoping for. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian food done right.

We used the smaller room for a family event and had the best experience. Catering was amazing to work with and planning was very smooth. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was exceptional. The wait staff were such pros and I could relax and enjoy the party. I can’t recommend Tres Scalini enough for a party.

This was a by chance find and we loved it. I was traveling with 2 other colleagues and the food was fantastic. The 1st night, we called and were able to get a table reservation and the food was great. I had the Lobster Pasta and the flavors and the generous portion of lobster -- AMAZING. The fresh bread to accompany the meal was a nice touch and the desert was very rich and shareable! We enjoyed the food so much, we went back for dinner a second night before leaving the city. It's great to have good food, but it's nice when the staff does a great job too and these culminated for a wonderful evening. Thanks Tre Scalini!

Just found these pictures in my camera roll and realized I never posted a review from my Valentine’s Day dinner! Tre Scalini did a fantastic job of giving us a romantic date night, with exceptional service and a special menu. The steak was cooked perfectly, pasta and sauces were amazing, and our apps of risotto balls and clams casino were delicious. Our dessert was a decadent chocolate cake with layers of mousse. Tre Scalini is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and we hope to come back for our next celebration!

Went for the restaurant week menu and enjoyed everything, especially the osso bucco. The service was very good

A nice upscale restaurant at the outskirts of Little Italy. The food was really good and the portions are generous. The Eggplant Parmigiana was delicious!

Everything we had was top notch. The environment is very close seating, like it would be in Italy. Nice change from the typical jumbo Americanized restaurants. The menu requires some patience to read, all the titles are Italian and there are many options! The food was so good and I hope to return one day.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and it was fantastic.

Cozy old school atmosphere, amazing food, great drinks, awesome waiter and valet parking.

We could not have enjoyed our meal more starting with the warm seeded bread! The carbonara & the shrimp scampi were the best we've ever had! Great wine selection with reasonable prices! Can’t wait to return!!

Now this, this right here was SO DARN GOOD 🤤 One of our go-tos, must have’s when we’re in New Haven. Easy on-off exit, valet parking, consistently great food, great people, and you can reserve a seat at the bar. We can’t wait to go back. 🍽

The restaurant is very nicely decorated for the holidays, very festive. Our server, Jovanni, was lovely: professional, friendly, and attentive. And the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Perfect date night place, it's a affordable family owned fancy restaurant that you honestly can't go wrong going to. The food was Great!!! The appetizers alone made me full and wanting more. Those little risotto balls were so good I scrapped the plate...WITH the spooon don't cha worry. And the NY style calamari has now become my new favorite way of eating this dish thanks to this spot hahah. My honey got some noodle dish with lobster and I got a cease salad BUT I must say besides his dish the bread was probably what I enjoyed most for some reason hahah. Well be back since we live a block away and I can't wait until outdoor seating opens and it's warm out that will make it even better, inside is beautiful and welcoming. I love how everyone at the bar seemed so happy and gathered this all gave me that family feel. Two thumbs up yall!

This is truly an elegant restaurant with a family feel. The owners are very personable and knew most of their customers. They went around the restaurant to greet everyone with a hello and or hug as well. The food...
Omgeeee to die for. I ordered a steak with onions and mushrooms w/ a side of asparagus. I Omitted the potatoe. The steaks there are top quality Angus. I take my steaks medium well and it was soooooo tender. Kudos to this New Haven Gem!!!!! I DEFINITELY SUGGEST ANY TO GO HERE.

Great food and great service. It's a little noisy on the weekends but still what a great place!
