Super 5 stars*****!!!!! Service is exceptionally friendly. Chorizo tacos are fantastic. Al Pastor are great also. The homemade taco shells definitely make a difference. Flan is very authentic and tastes great. Tres Leches cake is so so. Would easily recommend and no doubt go back.

Food was so good I forgot to post until I was halfway done. Price is reasonable, food is fresh and authentic. I now know what a quesadilla should taste like ! It was my favorite

First of all, I want to thank La Placita customer service for always greeting me with a smile. The food on La Placita is outstanding! I’m vegetarian and don’t eat meat and they are always available to customize my orders to not include meat. I just have about a month that I started visiting this place and I love it! I strongly recommend this restaurant! From tortas(sandwich), quesadillas, burritos to tamales everything is delicious. I also buy the Oaxaca string cheese that they use for their corn quesadillas and other recipes, waters(juices made from fresh fruit), fresh mangoes, guavas, and more! If you haven’t order from this place I recommend you give it a try!

The BEST tacos ever. I love this place, so authentic, great service and the tacos are unbeatable. Chicken tacos are so tender and there tacos are not greasy or soggy like some places that slow cook the meat.

The food is awesome! Authentic Mexican. This is a small, austere place with only two tables for dining in. But just get your meal to go. And they sell most everything you need for Mexican cooking at home. Limited parking.

I decided on three tacos. 1/bestec 2/pollo. Also chips and guacamole. The tacos were amazing. Guac was fresh and added perfectly to the meal. Would recommend to anyone who's in the mood for Mexican.

Had a Chicken quesadilla with queso fresco and avocado inside. Wow so good. Great portion size and had 3 tacos sorry no picture couldn't wait lol all made fresh. Check them out worth the stop.

I thought that I had good Mexican food until I went to this restaurant! This food was out of this world! The flavors have been haunting me ever since my visit! If I lived closer, I could probably eat here every day! Everything we ordered was prepared with amazing detail! I could not imagine the food possibly tastings any better than it did! I am greatly anticipating the next time we will be able to go to try more of the dishes that are on the menu! I am a chef of 20 years, and I don't think if I spent my whole life trying to recreat these recipes could I ever do such a good job! It is obvious they have spent their whole life passionately designing these amazing dishes! I'm sure these recipes have been passed down for generations! This is as authentic as I could imagine that it gets for Mexican cuisine! I can not thank the restaurant owners, and the staff enough for my amazing experience!!!

I love Mexican Food! I was very impressed with the food quality and service. I come from Los Angeles where some of the best Mexican food comes from and was pleasantly surprised with La Placita. We had the Chicken Tacos, enchiladas with green sauce and enchiladas with mole. The Guacamole was great, very fresh. I would absolutely come back to La Placita next time I am in the area.

Food is made fresh and so tasty. We go for lunch quite often and I've even ordered dinner to go. Both chicken & steak burritos 🌯 are huge and delicious.

I got some Tacos from this place yesterday and I was expecting traditional Taco Bell type tacos and got something way better than I expected! Their tacos are absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients cooked right then and there! They also have great snacks & drinks in this store. I’ll definitely be going back there.

The customer service is wonderful. Decent prices and the food is awesome. I love the tacos and I've had the burrito. Shrimp is one of my favorites and the carnitas. They did have lengua (beef tongue) but it's no longer available I think, or on the menu.

Every time we are in the Middletown area, or even passing through, we stop here to get food. It is delicious!! My husband and I as well as both of our teens have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is just as wonderful.

Definitely the best Mexican food in Middletown! I love their huaraches.
