Cedarhurst Cafe

I was in Connecticut on fall break and found this place online. I was not disappointed! The iced mocha I had was absolutely wonderful, and I loved the chill coffee shop atmosphere. I loved it so much I came back the next day!

Must try Blueberry muffin! Everything is wonderfully fresh & lots of vegetarian options, some GF as well.

Such a great cafe right in downtown New Haven! Some of my favorite coffee and lots of space that still feels cozy. I'd recommend the chicken caesar salad and an iced latte (with an extra doubleshot if you need the extra kick!) Staff is always incredibly friendly which adds to the nice atmosphere.

Loved this coffee shop! Employees were so nice and kind. Space was clean and had a great atmosphere. Very easy to use my reusable coffee mug and food was very good. Support local and try out this coffee shop!

The staff are so friendly! There is one gentleman that was very welcoming! I walked in and they said hello. As I was leaving, the man waved and said goodbye. Such a great place!
I got a decaf espresso with almond milk. The almond milk is unsweetened, which I prefer! The latte isn't as strong as I'd like, I would definitely go back and get 2 extra shots in it.

Visiting from Spain and thought the coffee is great! Nice service in a comfortable spot.

This is a great place to work and a less crowded option then further downtown if you hit it at the right time of day. From yoga balls, to a long bar, plush comfy chairs, and plenty of tables and seating options available. Also of note: plugs for computers/phones. Appropriate for a client meeting, a casual date, or some quiet reading.

The food options are healthy and tasty. The smoothies and juices are also of high quality and worth every penny.

Hard working, thoughtful and cheerful people own and work at this place and you feel welcome when you walk in. Don't forget to leave a note on their community chalkboard before you leave!

I was visiting New Haven by myself for the day and decided to stop in. The owner was SO KIND! The food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would give it 1,000,000 stars if I could.

First time in New Haven and stopped by to get some hot drinks. Owners are really nice and the cinnamon almond chocolate chip flat biscotti is a must-try! Highly recommend:)

Great little cozy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Fresh food made to order. Specialty coffees, smoothies, and teas. The employees are friendly and courteous. Plenty of on street parking as well.

I read reviews and came in with time to kill. The service was super friendly. I explained I was sticking to a Keto way of eating and she was so helpful! The eggs, cheese, & bacon were cooked fresh and were delicious! The iced coffee was yummy too! Friendly service, great selection of food, and relaxed atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

Simply the most amazing cafe I have been to! The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. Food came out fast, and they were excellent at interacting with each customer. The food, now I could go on and on about how amazing the food was. Cooked perfectly, and the flavor was unbeatable. Would reccomend this as a top pick for Conneticute for sure. If you have the pleasure of eating here, you will not be disappointed!

More selection than typical coffee shop. Was looking for oatmeal - and they had it! Woohoo! I didn’t try the big round exercise ball chairs, but they looked interesting.
