There are also a bunch of other helpful health services here, like a Quest Diagnostics lab and an X-RAY center, so you can meet with some specialists at the same location. Convenience in scheduling is really important to me, so I've had generally good experiences with Family & Internal Medicine of Dixwell Ave.

Dr. Kumar is a really good physician. That being said his staff needs to be better trained on customer service. I understand the issue regarding safety and this pandemic, however the staff is just rude and often fail to use plain common sense.

Dr kumar is a good doctor…but appointment times mean nothing here.time is no concern here! You will be treated as a walk in. Loooooong wait times. And the those woman at the window should be jobless. They are rude with nasty attitudes.I am 99% sure they are cause most of the problems that occur in that office..
