They always make my smoothie perfectly. I love that there are healthy options for both adults and kids so I can feel good taking my daughter here for lunch. It's very easy to order on the app for in-store pickup and I really like that I can substitute the ingredients to create my perfect blend.

Chia banana boost is the best. The staff is kind and friendly, the place is clean. It’s a great place to go.

Nothing bad to say, any issue I’ve had had been resolved by the staff there with care. There was an instance in October 2021 when I had just had surgery and wasn’t able to drive anywhere. I had tried ordering tropical smoothie through DoorDash two separate times and both times the driver had dropped off my smoothie to another location far from my address. The manager at the time was super kind and hand delivered it to me himself. I was so grateful because it wasn’t necessary of them to do that at all but they were so cool, understanding, and respectful of my situation. Cool people, I hope they always get treated with respect as they deserve it.♥

24 oz tropical smoothie for just $6. Smoothie is delicious and healthy. Fantastic price while other juice/smoothie bars charge $10+ for a smaller size smoothie. The good is also delicious as an great price for quality.

I have been a long-time customer of Tropical Smoothie in New Haven since its conception. I would often score points quickly because of my love for the Bahama Mama and Peanut Paradise smoothies. From time to time, I would have issues with my food order but didn’t make mention of it because they were minor. However, during the times of those issues, I would be a pick-up customer. During the pandemic and to date, I became a delivery customer and had the most issues with my food and smoothie quality. Most recently, I had two major issues with the food quality and timeliness of the order, in which I had to request refunds and potentially stop business at the establishment.

All that to say, I have never been met with such people who have shown integrity, care, and superb customer service as the owner-operator, Lenore, and the staff member, Equality. Lenore went above and beyond to ensure that I remained a loyal customer by calling me and offering me her trust/commitment to the company. Equality was very genuine and understanding. They both followed up with me, and for that, I will continue to be a customer of this establishment.

This is my new favorite place. I would normally not pay $8.79 for a smoothie, but they offer a pairing. A sandwich/wrap with a smoothie. It was so worth it. The jerk chicken wrap was delish & the smoothie was amazing!!! I don't do dairy or bananas & yet they somehow manage to make my smoothie absolutely delicious

Friendly service. The cashier personally served my order to me and all her customers. She was the only one making the smoothies but she was quick and served us with a smile. The wait wasn't long and it was at least 2 customers before me and 3 right behind me. I will be back because now I've got to try the other smoothies! I ordered a sunshine smoothie and it was delicious.

Fresh tasting fruits and mix isn’t overly sweet either. Great portion, worth the price. We tried the Sunrise sunset and blueberry Bliss. Quick service👌🏾

I just had the BEST smoothie I have ever had IN MY 59 years on this earth!!! The chocolate and Peanut butter had just the right amount of peanut butter to off set the chocolate. Hope I get to have another one before I head home!!!

Delicious smoothies and sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised by the buy two get one free deal after 4pm. The staff is attentive and warm. Yay for affordable, healthy food options in New Haven :)

This location is configured like an urban lunch counter. Nice twist on the typical Tropical Smoothie format. Quality of sandwiches and smoothies is great, just like any other location. Try the Avacolada, trust me. You'd never know it from the ingredients, but it's the best smoothie they have.

Amazing. I love this place and am so glad I decided to check it out 2 months ago. Since I found it I go one to two times a week. The first time I went I tried something random and it was really good. The second time I asked for a recommendation for a smoothie with peanut butter and she recommended the Chia Banana with peanut butter and I haven't looked back since. I have gotten that same one probably 15 times now. ITS AMAZING! Staff is really helpful and friendly and I bought the Tropical Smoothie Cafe cup because you get a dollar discount on every smoothie and its bigger than the regular cup! Their app allows you to preorder and get a discount. Their paninis are really good as well!!

That was my first time there and I had one of my best smoothies ever I would recommend this place hand's down.. give them a try and you will feel the same way...

I love this place on 15 Dixwell ave new haven ct. Food is great and the smoothies are the best. I’m a regular there and pretty much get the same thing. The working staff there are very friendly and polite and they always greet me when I come in and out. I really recommend this place

Ordered smoothies for the office crew today. The variety of smoothies, sandwiches and wraps pleased everyone's tastes. The Island Green was the smoothie favorite while the Chipotle Chicken Club and Caribbean Jerk Chicken were amazing. For those with Gluten allergies they were very accommodating with a grilled chicken bowl with a tangy sauce that was delicious. I recommend Tropical Smoothie Café for a quick great tasting healthy lunch for those on the go.

Destination? Flavor. Tasty, scrumptious, overwhelmingly wholesome. I brought my family to this palace and my marriage was saved. Peanut butter was lacking, but there was still a boldness that I couldn't resist. It's a zoo out there and it's important to find your cage of refreshment.

Amazing smoothies at a great price for the size of the cup! This location is always frequented by police officers so you never have to panic about being in New Haven for a late night smoothie if you choose!

The service and customer service is excellent, and the smoothies are delicious, I was extremely impressed with Raquel, her customer service was 100% on point and her smile was infectious, I've told all my friends about this establishment and I'm a customer for life.

Great smoothies. They have a large selection so go get some right now trust me. I still have dreams about my experience there
