Deja Brew

I always come to deja brew for breakfast and it is close to my house. I enjoy the food and the service every time I come. Particularly Sweetie who is always so welcoming and gracious in her service. She brings a warm feeling to the cafe when she greets you by your name. She is very polite and ensures to give you the best service. I especially love the mocha lattes that she makes for my boyfriend and I! I’ve been going to deja brew for years definitely a great family friendly cafe.

I stumbled across this cafe on my commute. What a great place! The workers are so nice and sweet. A great place to do some work for all my students out there. I got the snickerdoodle latte, 10 out of 10. Reasonable pricing I would say too. Definitely coming here again💕

First time coming and the coffee + pastry was just amazing!
I got a vanilla latte double, my girl got a shaken espresso the foam was just right and the quality of coffee was there.
Blueberry Cornbread was sooooo good!!!!
Customer service was nice and the scenery had a nice vintage aesthetic. Oh and the price 13!!! What a steal, what a gem!

The perfect breakfast sandwich with the correct ratio of bread to sausage/egg/cheese! Fresh tasting, delicious, quality ingredients for only $5!!!! Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere inside. Great selection of coffee and tea. Best decision I've made all week.

Exceptional coffee, friendly staff, super clean. Very fair pricing. Just wish seats were a little wider and more comfortable and that they opened an hour earlier in the morning. Great place for coffee and a light meal!!

A really cute little shop. Old style Latin vibes, really pretty interior decor, similar to the Pistachio cafe everyone raves about. Although in my opinion this place is better simply because the workers there are very friendly, and welcoming unlike Pistachio's. I was charmed as soon as she said "hello". They have a lot to offer at a good price from a variety of different coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, cakes, cookies, muffins, etc etc. I ordered the Emerald Elixir ($6 and some change) which was AWESOME. I have a sweet tooth and I love anything that's green apple flavored so I already knew I'd love it. It's a blend of fruits and veggies, pretty healthy with no food coloring or anything like that. It has a rich green hue as suggested by the name. I highly recommend that to you as well as a visit to Deja Brew, dear reader.

An Edgewood gem. Carol is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Food is delicious. I recommend trying the California panini, it will not disappoint. Very cozy spot I enjoy catching up on work or simply reading a book with a latte when there.

Delicious yogurt parfait and peanut butter latte! Beautiful outdoor patio to sit out and relax! Super dog friendly and our pup java loves all the attention and treats! The owner was very personable and friendly! Definitely will be back!

Really great breakfast place! We had wonderful drinks and food, service was fast and friendly and prices were so reasonable. My daughter’s pancake platter was somewhere around $10 and was enough for 3 people.

Super cute little coffee shop! It’s in a beautiful historic home. Very fast and friendly service! We both had bagels, and they were great. My iced coffee was delicious as well. We’ll be back!

Sweet little spot that's cute fun and tasty. Great vibe with outdoor seating . Quality brews that make you smile about giving your money to a local biz.instead of star donuts inc. I'm coming back I'm drawing pics and bringing friends and family .

Came to write a review when I was so confused by the many below accusing the owner of mistreating her employees. I worked here throughout college and still come back because the food and coffee are my favorite! Always have a lovely experience here and enjoy catching up with the owner, who is deeply embedded in the Westville community and like a second mom to me!

Nice staff and a great variety of drinks/food. There oat milk with the peanut butter banana specialty drink was out of this world. 10/10 would visit again

I googled a good place to have coffee and this was one of the first search results. It's a quite place with an warm atmosphere. The coffee was great. When I'm in America again and in this area I will definatwly come back

Excellent tasty treats! The casual vibe and friendly kind faces really made the delicious sandwiches experience even better.

I love this place. It looks like a charming tea room but has so much more than tea. The sandwiches are great. Loved the Chipotle chicken. The raspberry ice tea is amazing. I'd be here more often if I lived closer. The surrounding area is one of the best neighborhoods in New Haven, love walking it.

Friendly and enthusiastic staff. I’m sure they’re all pumped full of caffeine. Great coffee with a smile.
Not to mention, their patio is super kid and dog friendly.
