Trailhead located on a cul-de-sac. Parking on streets. Short 20-25 min hike to a beautiful waterfall! Loved it! Hidden gem!

Beautiful little piece of land, off the beaten path and a moderately challenging uphill hike to the top where you can see the waterfall perfectly. There are no fences or railings along the steep edge, so beware if you plan to bring children. The old stone fireplace and pallet-styles bridges over the brook are quaint. Tons of good photo opportunities! Usually not a lot of people there, thankfully it's still a very peaceful place. Hope it stays that way!

Excellent place to walk.
So peaceful, quite and full of big trees.
There are some blue marks (longest trails) and the red marks are for the normal trail to the small waterfall.

This park offered a nice early morning hike. The enterance to the park is on a small dead-end street. To get to the waterfalls there is a mostly uphill trek for about 20 minutes. After you experience the first falls, continue up a bit (to the blue trail) to see a secondary fall. Overall, enjoyed this greatly.

My first time. It is a difficult hike because it's steep but go at your pace and enjoy! I left my 2 sticks just inside the trail a few steps on the left. It helps me to use them in general but they were necessary for the hike coming down which is just as hard as going up.

It's quite a hike, but worth the stunning views and countless photo opportunities!

Beautiful hike, wonderful waterfalls. Bring a lunch and enjoy at the top while you watch nature take its course.

A hidden gem ! This is not a casual stroll as it would start out. The trails are steep enough: try climbing the falls to the top for a real workout.

Done this on sunrise twice, such a wonderful place. Quiet and saw one person the whole time. Many don’t know my info the beauty of Connecticut: it’s all perception.

Great little hike! Well-maintained and marked main trail. Lots of unmarked trails that go farther up into the hills and branch off the main one, for a little more of a challenge if you want. Otherwise it's simply up to the falls & back the way you came.
An option for those looking for more of a workout is to head right at the first fork, this will take you up a steep incline over rocks which then connects to the blue trail. Then follow the river to the falls, or keep going down the blue into Prospect.

The trail is not marked properly, there were no safety procedure and it's very risky.

If you hike cautiously, up to the lower part of the falls, that's enough.

I don't recommend anyone to go higher up.

Not the right place for kids and especially teenagers.

My dog and I love this quiet hike in Cheshire. Be aware it is steep in certain parts. Waterfall is nice especially after a good rain. Trail is well marked except for the first turn. Don't miss it or you will end up in a different but still nice trail. Tops of both options connect to the blue trail.

The trails were steep but were marked decently. And the waterfall was beautiful. Great spot for a good view and workout. Parking was in a residential area. Better to get there earlier in the morning to avoid crowds.

Beginners hike to one of the tallest waterfalls in CT (or so I read). It took us about 25 min with the kids (age 8 and 5) to get up to the falls. I would recommend to anyone that likes to hike an easy to medium trail.

Fun hike....we took our 3yo and 9mo sons... definitely was harder with them. Those slopes are very steep. We survived though! Would not recommend taking young kids, at least we won't be doing that again.

A really pretty walk/hike. I never expected to find such a nice area so close to Cheshire. Half of the walk is very mild. There is a good incline for the second half, and very nice gorge and waterfall to view as your reward at the top.
