Tom's Place

What a great place to stop at. I had the chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries. Chili was a yummy homemade bean free type chili with just a hint of heat and garlic and bits of bacon!

Hot dogs were steamed and served on a grilled bun they were very good!

Bacon cheese burger was also top notch good quality meat and nicely cut bacon perfectly cooked also.

My new goto in the future as the weather is getting warmer 😍

This was a solid food experience. This is great roadside Americana food. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were hot, fresh, and tasty. The burger was nicely done, great texture, great flavor. Very nice people running the place. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.1.

I saw the ad on that big ol' book of faces for a lobster roll meal priced at $17. Right on rt6 in Andover. Hey, I know that place. I must've driven by 1000 times. They've been there for decades, right? Needless to say, my interest was piqued. 17 bucks is pretty inexpensive for a ct lobster roll. So, pointed the trusty Accord east. Within minutes, i was there & within minutes after that I held in my hands a buttery, velvety rich delicious CT-Style Lobster Roll. A buttery grilled hot dog bun, topped with what looked like half a lobster; one claw, about a half-tail meat & smaller, more delicate picked buttery meats. The whole thing was doused in more clarified butter. Did I mention it was buttery?...soooo buttery. To cut the richness, the roll is accompanied by a small plastic ramekin of rather non-descript, yet perfectly adequate creamy mildly sweet/vinegary cole slaw & a small bag of Lay's original Potato chips. This is a pretty decent lunch-time meal for about the same price as.the so-called birthday meal at that large McCorporate place. The price on that was absurd & really made me Grimace. ... Not Tom's Place, though! Sat under some nice shady trees at the provided picnic tables next to a place where Rochambeau used to hang out. I enjoyed good eats at a classic roadside stand. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Tom's Place and based on my awesome experience, will be visiting for lunch much more often! Convenient, incredible value for price, delicious food, quick but care in each order is clear, and friendly, attentive staff. What more could you want when grabbing breakfast or lunch? It could be a staple in someone's daily routine who passes by OR, I would suggest as a destination visit if you've never been there. Very unique and worth a trip to try. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and MANGO HABANERO SAUCE!! Suggested by Christina (who was wonderful) and it was excellent. I even went back for another a few days later. It was priced like fast food but was super fresh and much, much better quality. 5 stars and 10/10 would recommend!

Love this stop for a quick bite. Hot dogs are consistently good and theyre always cheerful.

Driven passed this place hundreds of times not knowing what i was missing out on. This has got to be one of the best hotdogs for the price!

Great place, friendly people. The Monsta is a very tasty sandwich, definitely not healthy but very tasty.

I stopped in while driving by and ordered a sausage egg and cheese with a hash brown on it. BY FAR THE BEST EGG SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD!!! I highly highly recommended trying this place out if you see it open!!!! Amazing, quick, delicious, extremely organized and clean!!!!!

Fantastic, tender steak sandwich, clam rolls were also good. Very RV friendly pull around location as well. The young lady behind the counter was very kind and helped our 'difficult decider' choose his meal surprisingly fast. All around a wonderful gem.

Been stopping here for great meals since Tom opened it years ago! Staff are the best and the menu is great! Best fresh road side quick meal you can get! I blew past this place the other morning and hung a u turn down road. Very thankful I did. Not being from the area and being able to always locate a dunkin donuts I normally wouldn't stop too many places. If i could give this place 10 stars I would. This is one of those locals only know about it off the beaten path hidden gem. Keep it up, thanks for delicious fresh hot north east Tom's style breakfast sandwich the last 2 morning. As long as you're there I'm stopping for breakfast and lunch everyday day if i can!

Great little roadside lunch and breakfast place. Nothing to look at but good basic breakfast and lunch stuff. A few picnic tables to sit at. Pretty busy when I stopped. Food was great, glad I stopped

Drive by everyday for work from New Haven, stopped and had a great lunch.

Very good breakfast sandwiches. *MUCH* better than what you'd get at a national chain for the same price. Would absolutely recommend!

Went there when he first opened food was great then happened to be going by with my significant other which doesn't really eat hot dogs suggest that we stopped had hot dogs and fries just as good as the first time great place clean restrooms are cleaned very impressed with that not too many people have time logs anymore when they keep their facilities clean that says a lot about a place atmosphere friendly great place great food hot dogs were great at that good old-fashioned snap to him when you ate them natural casings french fries tastes like fresh cut fries and not greasy great taste definitely be going back again must stop on route 6 haven't tried to breakfast yet but definitely will great job guys keep up the good work

I have passed this place for years traveling on RT 6 and have never stopped. What was I thinking??? The past month I have already been there 3 times and love it! Food is consistent and a great value. I highly recommend. I will be there again very soon.

Decent food sold out a shack on the side of the road. Cash only. If you're going to buy a breakfast sandwich you might as well do it here instead of some fast food place.

Had the best hot dogs! Just driving home and stopped for a quick lunch and before I finished paying my dogs were ready! Love Tom's Place!

As authentic a roadside stand outa The Hills Have Eyes as one could ever want. Good choice if you want a BLT, a chili dog, or a burger. I have not tried breakfast, but I'm sure it's good too.
