Hadn't been in years and it was still just as beautiful and as wonderful as ever. The woman working in the store was very nice and friendly. Great selection of old time candies, handmade goods, salsas, jams, soaps, candles, etc. The pasta sauce I purchased was delicious. Really a special place!

This was the best hayride my family has been on in Connecticut. It's a tractor-pulled wagon filled with loose hay and very bumpy, my 3-year-old loved it! The hayrides are at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm on Saturdays, not sure about other days. The ride was about 45 minutes and included stops to play in a pile of hay in a barn, pick turnips, feed those turnips to cows, and then pick pumpkins. After the hayride we were treated to apple cider and cookies. A perfect fall activity! We also picked up some snacks, candy, and apple cider in the store. They have a great selection and everything is reasonably priced.

We've been visiting the Hurst farm for decades, always finding something wonderful depending on the season. In the spring, the greenhouses are a great source of seedlings for both garden vegetables as well as flowers. Their early-season garden yields some of the best fresh asparagus you'll ever taste. During the height of summer, their produce is fresh and beautiful, as perfect as you could imagine. If you visit during autumn or winter, the wood stove provides a warm welcome from the chill, and odds are they'll offer you some mulled cider. Don't miss the opportunity to visit their sugar house in late winter, when they are boiling down the maple sap tapped from trees all around town. Their syrup is the real deal, and they're usually baking bread in the brick oven also. All in all, a charming, old-fashioned local family farm.

Your standard brick and mortar locale this is not. This is a local homegrown staple that has exceptionally good quality goods. The salsas and honeys have been our favorites. If you swing by, the prices are what you'd expect for this type of market but you're supporting local "mom and pop" business of which these folks do a fine job. Good products that you can't ever go wrong with. You're paying for quality here.

Customizable gift baskets get filled with canned, garden goodness as well as CT-made niceties and even delivered or shipped as needed. Weekly CSA is filled with a variety of farm-fresh and seasonal bounty grown using organic practices. Yum

I always get my honey and various treats from this farm. However, today was a little different. When I went in they were out of the big jars of honey. I was kinda sad. I would've purchased smaller jars. The owner gives me a smile and says hold on. She comes back with 2 jars of fresh warm honey!! If you 've never had warm fresh honey, put it on your bucket list!!! Thank you very much!!!

I love this farm. The family is very friendly. I was there yesterday. I told them that I feel like a kid in a candy store. They have the best spaghetti sauce and dill mix. Great place for a family to visit. I would highly recommend.

The farm, the land, the Country Store is wonderful. The Hurst family is very friendly and hospitable. We love going there, and do quite often. The fall is gorgeous with color; turnips to feed the cows, apples for the goats, hayrides, and a pumpkin patch. Manchester Pre-school went here every fall for at least 15 years. The children as well as the adults loved this trip!❤Such a great learning experience while having fun!

Hurst Farm is a great place for family fun, From their country store ( which is open year-round, that has unique gifts and tasty treats) to their Sugar Shack which is open during Maple season and their seasonal hayrides which we have been enjoying for nearly 18 years as a family get-together. The owners Tom and Sherry and their children make it a great experience overall thank you again. Brett A.

We drove a few minutes of the beaten path to hit this little farmers market. We grabbed some fresh off the field produce (they also had a bunch of CSA baskets getting picked up) we also grabbed some jam candy and bread….

Best place for kids. Definitely kids will enjoy this place. Even grownups will enjoy. Hay ride, feeding cows, picking pumpkins, are the activities we love. There is a maze setup made with hay. Kids can explore that.
