I just want to say Manjit Singh and Eddy are lovely employees at this location. I’m so happy with the service I received today. They were so patient with me being that I’m very picky but they continued to be so patient with me. So many employees don’t want to work but these two are awesome kind hearted people. Then they proceeded to give me the advice I needed. I’m so happy! Thank you.

Incredibly friendly and well-run business. We have had a mailbox at this store for years. The store can get busy before and after the workday. But the staff is courteous to a fault and as competent as you could want. They have helped us with packages, notarizing, and many other things. Highly recommended.

I have a box at this UPS Store for multiple years and I have always found the staff to be more than accomodating and professional with me. I have been out of the country for multiple months and the owner Manjit will even help me work through mail that seems a priority. I can't say enough about how nice and easy they are to work with.

We have been customers at this UPS Store for several years, renting a P.O. box and using the shipping and notary services. The transactions with the staff are always very cordial and professional. I think it's one of the best run businesses in New Haven.

A truly delightful establishment with an excellent overall experience. The staff is notably courteous, particularly those entrusted with deliveries. They display exceptional kindness by consistently ringing the doorbell to signal the arrival of a package. Moreover, they exhibit patience by waiting a brief period before departing, a far cry from the hasty package tossing and photographing approach adopted by others. I am genuinely pleased with the level of service they provide.

The attendant was so helpful and genuine in their service to me; willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of my needs were met. Very thankful for 283668!

I'm a Amazon shopper and they stay sending me broken stuff. I come here often to send things back and I must say they have excellent customer service so nice and patient.All there staff deserves a pat on the back and some recognition 👏

I had a change-of-address for the person receiving a package that was properly stopped and then rerouted overseas. The store manager, Mr. Singh and involved employees kept me in the loop, took care of the details and even an address detail that I had incurred in error, and the package got to where it should go, in Brazil, even earlier than expected. Kudos to this UPS store on Dixwell Ave.

Honestly I’ve never had an issue with this store. I think all the bad reviews are probably from impatient upper class students and professors, expecting to be waited on hand and foot. This is the only parcel store like it in town and it’s usually over run with Amazon returns. But again. Other than waiting in line a moment I’ve never had an issue. They’ve always been kind too.

UPS Store #5105 at New Haven provided outstanding service above and beyond any UPS Store that I have ever interacted with. I got a prompt and clear quote for cost of packing and shipping. I discussed the options and received an extremely fair price. My package did not arrive as scheduled and was lost in transit. The UPS store emailed me and told me that they would track the process and were very apolgetic. Several days later the package was identified and I received the package with confirmation by the UPS store. The packaging was remarkable for its care and consideration to ensure safe arrival. I have never experienced anything like this!!! My highest recommendations and thanks for a job not only well done but with great care and real concern.

Never had to wait too long, the people were professional and courteous, been there many times. Good place to ship your parcels!

Just went back there today for a drop off, and the staff were very polite and courteous. I’ve been here quite a few times and don’t know what all the negativity is all about! Maybe they just were having one of those days! 6/15/23

I have to say that every time I've had to use this UPS store I've gotten great service. I've shipped personally owned musical equipment of from hundreds to thousands of dollars worth and recently a Sony Professional camera worth 20K. The waits have been reasonable and the patient, thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly service they have provided has been a tremendous comfort when so much of your personal resources are on the line. Most recently, Mr. Singh took a great deal of time investing attention to my parcel resulting in the very secure and timely delivery of very valuable and fragile items. Others who have rated the store differently typically complain about the rising cost of shipping which the predominantly student population of Yale would likely be sensitive about, but that reflects these student's moderate resources and not the actual competitiveness of the site's pricing. I have always received competent and thoughtful service here otherwise I would go elsewhere! I trust these people and they have shown me nothing but consistent kindness and efficiency. Keep it up!!!!

Went in and had forgotten my mask, staff were super kind and gave me one from their supplies. I had a couple of questions about my package and they were patient with me while I checked the return labels and on my phone and worked with me to ensure everything was correct. Very pleasant experience!

I went here today with trepidation, seeing all the negative reviews. However, my experience went perfectly. The store was busy but the line of 4 or 5 customers went fast. I was treated with respect and I didn't see any other customers being treated poorly.

I like this UPS store,it's in a convenient location in New Haven.
I like that you can also print papers/shipping labels on available computer.
You need a debit or credit card to make it operate(can be a prepaid debit card).
The workers are also very nice and helpful.

Going into this store was a refreshing experience compared to most stores nowadays. The employees didn’t make me feel like I was hassling them but rather I felt welcome the whole time
I was there. they were very helpful and had all the info I needed. Gilbert specifically was friendly and helped me out and the notary also was able to do everything I needed to get done.

This is not a regular UPS Store. The store owner may ship via UPS but the service exceeds anything I have experienced before. Staff interaction is unusually personal and professional. Staff are committed to taking enough time for each customer to advise without slowing things down.
I shipped several items here including a heavy professional grade espresso machine that needed double boxing/crating. I was advised via personal email and phone calls about the shipping recommendations after drop off, the receiving party had ample time to discuss with this store how to best ship it and how to break down the different contents. We were both updated timely about packaging, weighing and shipping. Quote and handling left all other professional shipping, crating and moving companies in the larger area in the dust although this UPS store was our last resort.
