Ronald Slocumb, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Slocum for 4 years. He is and has been in each of my visits and concerns, a true and caring professional. Always patient and thoroughly responsive to my many questions. I never feel rushed or without having answers or treatment for my visits. I would highly recomend him to anyone in need of a consummate professional.

Am absolutely pleased with all aspects of the cataract surgery he did for me....was very informative about total procedure. I would highly recommend him.

Will spend way more time more time charting then listening to or interacting with the patient Not very helpful to the more older population who may move a little slower. There's a reason why he is the one that has the most openings. He certainly is no Dr. McKay

Slocum did cataract surgery on my right eye. He put in the wrong lens. I was blind for Three Weeks, before he admitted that he did something wrong. Another Dr. in the group did the replacement surgery, because he didn’t feel confident doing it.

As a physician in call for after hours care, Slocumb refused to call in an antibiotic prescription. More annoying than his refusal to assist was his condescending attitude.
