Stop & Shop

We shop here very early on Saturday- at 6am when they open. All employees I've encountered were exceptionally helpful, kind and friendly. There is a dark haired woman who usually does our checkout. She remembers who we are and she's always very personable - while checking our groceries out in an very efficient & accurate manner.

I was also surprised to learn that they have quite a few foods from other countries. I've had to look ALL over to find chocolate bars from the UK in the past. I was stunned to see the one I wanted in a grocery store in our local area!

I would definitely recommend this store.

I recently has a tall order for the flower department. Needed a same day bouquet, for an event I was hosting. The florist was filling in from another store with no manager on duty. I wish I had cought her name because she was outstanding! She made my arrangement in record time right there on the spot. It couldn't have come out more beautiful. So, hopefully she reads this and knows how grateful I am that she was the one who was working that day.

I shop at stop& shop love the service and the polite attitudes from everyone.also the bottle room is clean and tidy. Awesome 👍

So happy with my everything bagel!!! The employee WASHED her hands in front of me -put on clean gloves and gave me my fresh made bagel in a little bag !!! So happy for your CLEAN employee !!! Thank you God bless !! And it only cost $1.39 !!! Good price

This is my regular shopping for food place and I have to say the self check out guy, Max, is an amazing employee and deserves recognition for his hard work. He truly does need some kind of reward or raise haha. Been frequenting this particular store for 3 years and yes, you do come across some days when they're wiped out of stuff but all the staff I've had interactions with are always helpful and friendly. Especially Max. Please give this man a raise or employee of the year. He really goes above and beyond for customer service..

Was visiting a relative in the hospital and stopped by to get dinner. Clean store, shelves were stocked, and the employees knew their stuff. Thank you to Chris and the staff in the produce department for taking time to help us find some odd items on our shopping list.

Stop and shop is well stocked all the time. The produce people will go in the back and look if its not on the shelf. Most cashiers are nice except this one guy with black rimmed glasses that always has an attitude. But ignore him and enjoy the store cleanliness and other awesome cashiers.

Much more vegan options no doubt soon I grow my own food but shop rite has the best veggies and fruits

I like their meat selection the best. Reasonable prices. They had the 2 items I was searching for.

Clean, always fully stocked. I love the self checkout.. easy in and out for your small errands

In store and online ordering both worked well. Certainly a few online items we were advised to be out of stock only to find shelves fully stocked at the time of pickup. Not a deal breaker.

Pays to shop around some merchandise surprisingly more expensive than other retailers. Sale items not the bargains they may claim. It is a shame we cannot count on anyone not to capitalize on "inflation "

This Stop n Shop is filled with wonderful employees. Everyone was cheerful and quick to help. This is the main grocery store I am most fond of. You'll have a good grocery shopping experience.

We contacted the Floral Department at Stop and Shop to provide flowers for our wedding and they did not disappoint! Deborah was an absolute pleasure to work with, and given we live out of state, she was more than accommodating and flexible meeting at times that were convenient for us. The floral arrangements she created, from bouquets to corsages to everything in between, were stunning. The flowers were fresh and the pricing was completely reasonable. We can't thank Deb enough for how breathtaking the floral arrangements looked!

This stop and shop has a wonderful choice for Spanish cookers. An entire section right next to the deli. The men and women at the check out are also very pleasant and helpful to the patrons. I've never had such a pleasant shopping experience in CT.

Beautiful clean store. The employees are friendly & knowledgeable. They have the best deli of any grocery store in the area were there is never a long wait. I enjoy shopping at Stop & Shop, it's always a pleasant experience.

I would like to thank Max at the self check out. He made me and my friend feel the holiday spirit today. We bought Christmas cookies to cook and decorate our tree. When we went to cash out we were about 5 dollars short and he paid for the remaining balance. Max you have such great customer service and holidays spirit that you must be recognized. Great Produce, Seafood and Meats. Top notch bakery and cheese dairy . Wide selection of frozen foods and pre made meals. A good go to for many seasonal items. Gift cards and florist for those who love the one stop get all. And the Pharmacy meets the demand plus for those on the run or those slowed down that need a dependable pharmacist that will tend to their immediate needs .

Stop and Shop of Norwich, Ct has always been one of my favorite stores to shop at!! It is always well stocked and the employees are so very helpful even during the Pandemic. They were a really big part of our special essential workers ❤ Thank you all ❤

Awesome! the town mayor instated a mask mandate even if you had both vaccines but 90% of the stores aren't enforcing it and around 85% of the people are disregarding it.and although I do wear it I agree with them, a single person should not have that kind of control or power
