Always a great place to shop for gifts and unique items. Beautifully designed and maintained showroom. Wonderful that they wrap gift purchases.

This place was a gem of a find. All kinds of household decor items and toys and activity games for kids. We were there before Christmas. Will have to go back over the winter and see how the items change.

Super consistent. Hasn't changed one iota since we left the area 11 years ago. Note: That's a good thing! Something for everyone.

A really nice gift shop. Great variety for both children and adults. Usually visit around Christmas for very tasteful ornaments. A little pricey but one is paying for quality, and the items are certainly worth it. Extensive assortment of greeting cards not to be readily found elsewhere locally.

What a find! We have not left the table yet but this brunch will s the best we have ever had. Husband had salmon Benedict. Delicious! I had beef bourganion with eggs and bacon! Cocktails delish staff amazingly friendly and super efficient ♥

Amazing location. They have a perfect little sanctuary. It's very cottage chic with section for the kids and women's clothing. It's my wife's new favorite store.

I absolutely love the hoot. It's a place where you can find a unique gift for someone in your life. Their is so much to look at you could spend hours in there. We arrived and found all the gifts we needed for upcoming Christmas. We enjoyed looking around and fascinated over the jewelry. Very unique and different. My boyfriend bought me my first ever necklace from the hoot. It had a magnetic clasp, and it fell off my neck, and I lost it. He bought another one and took it to a jeweler and changed the clasp. I absolutely love it still to this day. Great store, very helpful workers. Always ask if they can help you. Was looking for a teacher's gift. The worker went around and found some items, and I had some to pick from. Did the work for me. Very helpful. We left very happy and even found a vera Bradley bag on sale! The savings. Love this place!

This store is really nice. They have a lot of handmade items that are a little pricey, but very high quality. It is relaxing atmosphere and you can find a unique gift for just about anyone. The staff are fantastic. They help to narrow your search by asking good questions about the recipient. Also, they gift wrapped my items for free. I would shop there for that alone. Seriously though, clay ware, clothing, ornaments, soups, toys, jewelry and Christmas trees. Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome store for eclectic gifts. Something here for everyone. If you can't find them (or yourself) a gift here, then ....well it's just not possible. Super interesting & unique toy selection. Nice selection of handmade soaps & body lotions. Card selection is super for any occasion. Lovely pottery and kitchenware/ linens. Large Vera Bradley offerings. Nice jewelry selection ( most items under $100.00).

What can I say? The hoot is a classic, must visit store of Connecticut. It's a little treasure. It has gifts for every occasion for young and old. Love the kids section, as does my child. Love looking through every part of the store. They are one of the few authentic Vera Bradley retailers on this side of the state, they also carry locally made goods and some stonewall kitchen items. Lots of items for garden lovers, cooking fans, and jewelry lovers.
Need a card for a special occasion? Come here. Their cards are beautiful and unique. A definite must see place.

The Hoot it’s a place that I have been visiting for many years. It is a market that reminds me not only I have an old New England country store, but that of a quaint and comforting family place you want to return to year after year. From cute little gifts such as bird houses and wind chimes, to classic New England clothing and toys for the kids. This is a store that you can enjoy all year round and even get your gifts wrapped by the lovely store associates. Every time I visit, I find another reason why I love this place and continue to come back and purchase their beautiful goods each year.
