Irene's Family Restaurant

Wife got chicken parm and I got baked ziti. Both got a big side salad with our meals and ordered some garlic bread, it was all fantastic. Attentive waitress and friendly. Will definitely be back !

Our first time ordering delivery from here and they did not disappoint! I had NY Style pizza (well done) and my husband had a chicken parm grinder (no photo, he ate it too fast) Super fast delivery and delicious HOT food.

The phone lady was very easy to order with and we had really friendly young male delivery driver who arrived way before the estimated delivery time. Would give more stars if I could.

Seriously, some of the BEST pizza in the area. The crust is crispy but soft inside and has that perfect buttery flavor. Their white pizzas 😍🤤 I load mine up with chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, roasted peppers and spinach and somehow it doesn’t get soggy. The staff is always really friendly and patient, I always recommend Irene’s when someone asks what’s good around Norwich.

My fiancé and I have lived in the Norwich area for about 6 months now and we love trying new restaurants together. Irene’s is AMAZING😍!! I ordered a toasted Italian grinder and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best grinders ive had in a long time! And he got a chicken tender meal with garlic bread and fries😋 (yes I tried some) they did a wonderful job and quick delivery! Definitely worth a try!!

UPDATE**** Irene’s is FABULOUS! It’s still our favorite restaurant in this area! Tonight hubby ordered the fried shrimp, and I got the turkey club😩😋 absolutely wonderful job! Thank you so much for your wonderful service!!

Inexpensive lunch specials. The chicken chili was excellent, I recommend it. Tried quite a few different dishes and enjoyed them all. Manicotti is one of my favorites.

Excellent pizza! Ricotta, pepperoni, extra cheese and mushrooms.

Omg, we love this place. There are so many options and they're all delicious. Always a good choice. Portions are generous and well priced.

Husband got the Chicken Parm Grinder, I got the stromboli w/pepperoni, and we got some garlic bread w/cheese. My husband makes an amazing sauce, so typically I try what the restaurant gives and trade it out for his, we both used Irene's sauce for the garlic bread and stromboli. He was very satisfied with the chicken parm. We moved to CT just under 2yrs ago and have had some fairly disappointing food experiences - this one turned it around. Will definitely be back!

I took my grandmother to Irenes for the first time and it did not disappoint. Food was great, service was excellent. The restaurant itself is not a bad place. If you want a good meal at a decent price, I recommend going to Irenes. I plan on doing a food review for my YouTube channel in the future.

Excellent Calamari and Reubens here. The staff are all lovely and very organized; I love coming here.

Great place to enjoy lunch or dinner. My favorite Norwich restaurant with awesome soups, deserts, and foods. Servers always have a smile and treat you right.

Fast,friendly,clean,affordable and the food was excellent too! Would reccomend for many reasons,not just supporting a small business. Had the seafood platter,garlic bread ( or soup or salad included instead),mozzarella sticks and two regular drinks for less than $40 which i split with my wife and we still have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Would go out of my way to eat here again.Well done!

The family running this restaurant is truly amazing. As a child, my father would always take us here and to the "sister" restaurant in Moodus, CT. The owners/staff became an extended family for us and were always kind and welcoming to everyone. I left the state for 8 years for my career, but luckily moved back this year with my family. I had Irene's cater a cross country team dinner for approx. 40-50 students and their families. The service when I placed the order was excellent. The day of the event the order was delivered on time and the staff who delivered it went above and beyond her duties to help me get everything inside. It was pouring outside when the food was delivered (and super cold), but she had a wonderful attitude and while I personally felt the need to rush to get everything out of the vehicle, she reminded me to take my time and helped me so graciously. The food was hot when it arrived and tasted amazing! The students and their families (some already fans of Irene's) were either excited that I had the event catered by them because they said the food is always so good or took a bite of the various pastas for the first time and raved about how good it tasted. Absolutely recommend Irene's for a family dinner inside their restaurant or to cater your own event!! Excellent experience every time and I was glad to share it with my children!

We get take out from Irene’s all the time and it’s been exceptional every time. Service is great, delivery drivers are friendly and the food is delicious. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Haven't eaten in quite a while but wanted to bring my kid here. The waitress was the only one serving but really outstanding. She had quite a bunch and I didn't feel slighted at all. I ordered a salad and my child a turkey club. Food was great,very filling. She came back to check on us and made sure we were taken care of even though she had other tables. We really enjoyed everything.

Fish very good as well as scallops. Soups yummy Cant wait to visit again and again. Stromboli today

Irene's from start to finish customer service was outstanding. From our first conversation on the phone taking my catering order they were friendly and patient with me. I called a second time to make changes to my catering order and they were very understanding and accommodating. On Wednesday Oct 4th the food was delivered. I was so overwhelmed and busy with setting up for the business event that I went totally blank on what I ordered. Shout out to Hunter who delivered the food. Hunter was so extremely friendly and understanding he went over the order with me. Hunter went ABOVE and BEYOND his duties he help me put the food pans in the chaffing trays. Irene's catering food we were not disappointed 😋 it was on point and it was a hit at this business event. Compliments to the chef. To the owners of this establishment you should be very proud of your staff that provided such outstanding service. I look forward to working with you in the near future. My associate will be contacting you for our holiday event. Thank everyone who was involved with this order ESPECIALLY HUNTER!!!

Great customer service, Fast delivery, & the Pizza was really good, the Chicken Gyro was really good as well. Delivery was quicken then I thought an was told. I would recommend, an I will return.

Amazing food, amazing staff there at the restaurant. Crust was soft and pizza was cheesy and very very good! Will return whenever in the area for sure.
