La Stella Pizzeria

This summer I had an internship over 1000 miles away from home and I spent my first night in CT eating here as well as my last. It was bittersweet knowing it would be awhile before I ate there again. The food is amazing and the staff is lovely! My favorite was the cheese ravioli with a vodka sauce that was to die for. If you have a love for chocolate like I do, then you’ll fall in love with their giant slice of chocolate cake. I will definitely make the long trip back to Norwich just to visit La Stella’s again!

Such a great restaurant for out of towners!

They have all sorts of great food and great customer service! (Beware for the tomato story.) If you want to get great styles of pizza or pasta at really big proportions I would say this would be prefect for you!

For a small little restaurant, it's great for anyone.

A fantastic family run business serving fantastic food! Pizza crust was crispy delicious! And pistachio cannoli was perfectly sweetened! Loved the put your cell phones down and play a conversational game that was at each table! Very fun!

La Stella’s Pizzeria catered an event at our house for 20 people. They did an amazing job. Justin helped us choose how much to order. The guidance he provided was fabulous. Our guests loved the dishes we chose. The chicken Alfredo and the fettuccini a la Stella were the favorites of the night. We will definitely cater with La Stella’s again. It not only made having the event easier, but it allowed us to enjoy our guests. We love La Stella’s pizzeria every time we go, but this experience was truly above and beyond. A big thank you to the whole La Stella’s team. They made our night absolutely perfect. We are so thankful!!

La Stella's Pizzeria in Norwich Connecticut, is my favorite place to eat in the entire world.
After having had moved out west, all mock "Italian" food has disgusted me because I deeply desire the fresh taste of La Stella's well thought out, well designed, and authentic Italian recipes

I have never had a bad experience eating at La Stella Pizzeria, infact many of our waitresses had become like family with how often our family goes there for an affordable, authentic Italian dining experience. With true kindness from the staff, attentiveness, and even gifts from the owners such as many a free cannoli when food was taking a little longer than expected to come out (It gets very busy often due to the fantastic quality of food), however despite that I never felt that the waiting time was very long. This is due to the fact that once the sauce hits your taste buds you're instantly drooling over how delicious your meal is.
Adding onto that, I can never finish my meals at La Stella Pizzeria due to the fact that I am getting in insanely large portion. For what should be costing me an arm and a leg is never costing me more than an hours pay of work.

I would rate La Stella's Pizzeria as ☆THE VERY BEST RESTURANT IN NEW ENGLAND☆!

If you don't believe me then you need to try it yourself, I HIGHLY recommend the Eggplant Parmesean with Penne in Vodka Sauce.

We got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza with salads, and I had the pesto pasta with eggplant parmesan. It was excellent, and came with a salad and bread. All the food was tasty and fresh. The side salads even had roast peppers, a nice touch. The service was also excellent, and friendly. Wish they were in my hometown!!

La Stella provides a very charming atmosphere. It's owned and operated by a lovely family. It reminded me of having Sunday dinner at my grandparents house. The food and service was amazing! Mom greeted us upon arrival and her daughter waited on us providing us with a delightful experience from beginning to end! The chicken cordon blue with angel hair pasta was delicious! I wish that I could have taken the lovely waitress home with me!

If you are going to the Mohegan Sun Casino. This Italian restaurant/ Pizzeria in Norwich is just 8 minutes away. The food is incredible. The Pizza is off the charts. The dinners so good. The prices so reasonable. The decor is so cool with marble counters. Waines coding booths. Atmosphere and service along with the food makes this place a must eat. Don't let the outside fool you. New York style pizza .

Pizzas were so good, two medium served the four of us! 🍕 The wait staff was so so busy but still really friendly - the lady with dark brown hair in a half braid was super welcoming and pleasant.

My waitress was one of the nicest I ever had (coming from a waitress myself) I just wish I could remember her name! She had dark brown hair in a braid, on the taller side, and helped me box all my food. The bruschetta was my favorite and for so cheap!! Definitely recommend to everyone.

Just ate their honey ham grinder and it was so incredibly delicious. I also have to mention how friendly and attentive everyone is. Great food and a great experience!

Absolutely loved the food. Our waitress Mary was wonderful and made our evening wonderful. My husband loved the creamy garlic dressing in his salad, and we shared meals. The shrimp parmesan was delicious, but I felt like it was a little too much breading on the shrimp. My seafood fra diavlo was excellent. We will definitely be going back again. I can't wait to try the eggplant rollatini!

La Stella's is a local treasure! Whether you want to grab a quick slice to go, or dine in for a wonderful sit down dinner, they have great cuisine and service. I suggest the Lamb Gyros, the meat is nice and tender!

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Specifically the Sicilian pizza.. I had my delivery driver today say to me “thank you for supporting my son’s business” 🥺 the family who owns La Stella seem like very genuine, and appreciative people. My go to restaurant in Norwich!

We couldn't be happier to have stumbled upon this great Italian restaurant in a historical building in downtown Norwich. We started with the garlic knots, which were unbelievable and paired great with the side of meatballs we had. The marinara sauce (which is also lightly covered with ribbons of fresh basil) is among the best we've had in any restaurant. The meatballs are amazing and contain the slightest hint of red pepper, giving them a nice subtle kick. The homemade soups tasted like we were at my mom's house. The homemade salad dressings couldn't be beat, and the salads that accompanied our meals were just as impressive. The chicken parmesan and veal parmesan were delicious. Fork tender and seasoned perfectly to accompany the marinara which sat atop. I can't believe I haven't mentioned the prices of the entrees yet...which are are among the least expensive of any Italian restaurant we have been to. T, our server, was very attentive and friendly. Justin, the owner, was more than hospitable and made sure every aspect of our visit was one we wouldn't forget. We will be back (soon) to try their pizza, which looked delectable.

Always loved this pizza place! Everyone is so nice and the family is lovely! I will always love La Stella’s! They always have such amazing specials to try and they take trips to Italy in order to learn new and creative techniques. Justin also had classes over at the bakery location for anyone wanting to learn more about food! The pizzeria location also has a lovely atmosphere for a nice family dinner.

So so so good!
Pizza is fresh, well cooked and delicious.
Place is gorgeous and service is very friendly.
We will definitely be back. It’s a quick ride from Foxwoods.

I absolutely love La Stella!! They have the kindest working people here and amazing food. Anytime I am in Norwich I think about their buffalo chicken pizza. I am also a huge fan of their garlic bread and their burrata alla vodka pasta is chefs kiss. I have NEVER been a fan of pistachio flavored anything, but for some reason their pistachio flavored cannoli’s are amazing. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious, and every single person we talked to was so kind. Stephanie was our waitress and she was awesome. The manager, Marco, even made us some homemade cannolis!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!!! 100/10

Had a great dinner on our way to the casino. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but don't let that fool you. The food was really very good and great portions and great prices! We will definitely plan on going back
