Prime 82 Restaurant & Bar

Our first time visit here and it was wonderful. The food and service was perfect. The owner came to our table to check on us as well and was very hospitable. And the bill was less than half the price of what we would have spent at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun's restaurants with only a 10 minute drive from Mohegan.

I was invited to this margarita dinner event and about half an hour before we arrived I read the review for the margarita dinner event that happened a few days ago. So with that said, the bar was on the floor. But, I was hopeful that they had time to reflect and revise based on the past review and my party would have an amazing time.
Here's how it went:
We sat promptly, they had all the tables set up and a row of margaritas ready to be served.
They started serving us margaritas and salsa with chips right away. The Volare Original marg was strong and delicious. The rest were watermelon, hot honey, mango, and coconut in the order of how they were presented. The salsa had shrimp and avocado and came in a cute cup (and they kindly brought one of our party shrimp-free salsa due to their shrimp allergy).
I was surprised that after the first course of salsa, they suggested we come up and serve ourselves margaritas based on what kinds we liked. It honestly worked out really well because I was still able to try them all throughout the dinner.
The next courses came consistently about 16 minutes apart. Just enough time to eat and settle before the next course. Enchilada was pulled pork and had delicious sauce. Shredded beef taco was filling and covered in toppings. Mexican street corn is not my vibe, but the others in my party seemed to like it. We also had a surprise chicken dish with rice was nice. Lastly, dessert was tres leches and pretty darn good.
Started at 200 and ended at 430iah.
I wrote this review while there and just continuously drank margarita after margarita. Honestly felt pretty sick after all the alcohol.
Overall, we had a fantastic time with our large party. 🥳

The food was excellent, as was the service.
Expensive night out but worth it. We will go back.

Every time I come here, I know what to expect… Great food, drinks, and extremely friendly staff right down to the owner! It’s a great spot for any gathering with friends, family, or colleagues, for lunch during the day or a very nice atmosphere for dinner. Highly recommend stopping in!

I went to this place about in February. There were 8 of us. The waitress was able to take care of all of us. She was pleasant and nice to talk to. The food was very good.

Never been disappointed. Alex is always so hospitable. Food is great. Martinis are amazing! If you're looking for The atmosphere and ambience, this is the place to be for all that. Always love date nights here with close friends and family.

Seriously the best restaurant experience I've had in a while. Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was really comfortable and romantic. The food was impeccable. Also, amazing portions for what it is. Very impressed.

Good Food & great service! We tried for MJ steakhouse and we’re happy they were booked on our drive up to Mohegan. We got Served by the amazing Stefanie. Great drinks & they gave us birthday cake.. great night

Awesome experience here for a rehearsal dinner with a large and loud group. Service was exceptional and professional. My steak was cooked to perfection, modifications were not an issue.

Afterparty at the bar the following night was also a blast, with a full 360 degree bar and plenty of options. Service was again very good even with a drunk and rowdy crowd.

At first we were apprehensive because it is a restaurant in a hotel...how good can it be, right? But I was pleasantly surprised by the variety in the menu and apecials. I had a steak that was buttery soft and tasty. The staff was pleasant, you're never rushed, it was a good little surprise.

Best steak we have had in a while and not overpriced! Chefs kiss to the Delmonico steak!

Pleasantly surprised at this place. I drive by here every day always thought of it as a bar so never stopped. We had dinner for day after mother's dinner and I was surprised to see a nice restaurant inside. My food was delicious! I will be back

Great food. Staff is really nice. When I sat at the bar a few months ago, food came fast and bartender was really kind/attentive. Calamari was done just right. Ordered chicken parm for pick up tonight and asked if I could buy some bread/butter + they just gave it to me. Will definitely return anytime I’m in the area.
