The Horny Toad American Bar & Grill

Seven of us in our party on a Friday night - super busy but a table was available right away. Our server was fantastic. Took a little for our food because of how busy it was. The noise level was high and difficult to talk to everyone at our table.

Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the ones who had burgers, even the ‘lonely’ burger. My daughter stated the best burger ever.

We will return during lunch and enjoy the atmosphere and wall decor without the noise level - great food and service!

This was our second visit, the first time we had a large party, but this time round, i took one of my kids out. It wasn't overly busy. I'd say for say for a Friday night it was maybe a little slower than it should be. Our server was super nice. Our food was great. My daughter got the kids' cheese pizza, and I had the breaded chicken sandwich with chips. Overall, I'd give the experience an 8/10 only because we didn't see our server a whole lot when we first got there or toward the end.

Clean and welcoming. Love the rock and roll photos and memorabilia on the wall. Food was very good. It did not disappoint. Staff was super polite and friendly. If in the area for a bite to eat. Stop here. I'm coming back.

Place had great decor and a cool vibe. We did not eat, but the menu items looked unique and worth trying. Had several drinks that were all tasty.

A perfect visit on a busy Saturday evening. We were a party of nine and the server was great. Food arrived quickly too.

I'll give it a 5 for the service alone. Our waitress was great. The menu had a lot to offer. We had mini tacos for an appetizer. The tenders were very tasty and the salad was very good too. If your on Main Street Cedar Falls I would recommend.

One of the better burgers I've had.

Awesome food and love the bar atmosphere. I had a medium bloody Mary and the meatloaf. Both were wonderful. That meatloaf..Gotta have it! So good!

Bartender guy was super cool and funny!! Food tasted amazing!! We all got a quesdilla, cheeseburger with jalapeno bacon and spicy mayo.. and sunrise burger! Outstanding!!

Came in to town on a random stop in a long family road trip with 3 antsy kids an hour before close. The food was really good but the service we received here was exceptional. Our server was super patient with our kids, extremely friendly, and we never felt hurried along even though we were there a bit beyond close.

At the end of the meal she brought our kids some surprise quarters for the ski-ball machines on her own accord. I wish I knew her name, but she knows who she is. Highly recommend patronizing this restaurant!! If we weren’t driving through, we’d be back again for sure. Cute town, maybe we will make it back.

I did very much enjoy the Pizza

Went here with my parents over the weekend. The staff were great, even though they were very busy, we were seated almost immediately. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes given, and everything we ordered was made to order, so the entire order was freshly made, even the veggies on the burger were fresh, which is impressive for a restaurant with so much traffic and such a large menu. They even used fresh grease for the cheese curds. The hot beef was the best I've had in years, and definitely the best around. Our bill didn't break the bank, and we had plenty of leftovers for later. Highly recommended.

Walked down from Hampton Inn while traveling for work. Great environment. Friendly atmosphere. Had the mango BBQ burger and it was awesome! Chatted with another patron and he had the meatloaf sandwich and he said it was great as well! Will go again!

Loved it! We were seated quickly with great service. Very roomy booths. Got the Diablo Wrap. It was SO good. Would definitely go back again!

Pretty sick dive! Stellar chili fries and our server was really sweet!
