Steve in the shop here is amazing. We purchased a used bike from another shop and found the front brake wasn’t working and we brought it in to get a replacement part. Steve was amazing and identified a couple other issues such a bent rim and the other brake rubbing against the rim. This was my daughter’s new to her bike, and she was about to quit bike riding because she felt it was really slow. After Steve’s repair we’re now out riding at Manchester community college and we can’t get her off it. Thank you so much Steve for making her bike look like new, making it safe and reinvigorating her love of riding!

From sales to service, this shop is TOP NOTCH. I worked with Chris in sales, very professional, helped me to order the parts I needed and they arrived to the shop the following day. Owen and Liam in the service department understood my issues immediately and gave me a number of options to consider. I never felt pressure or judgement from the techs and they clearly are experts in their trade. I like that Pedal Power caters to recreational riders, families, and competitive cyclists alike. I highly recommend this shop and have visited each of the locations. Fair prices, excellent service, and a clean and welcoming space.

My first experience with Pedal Power was excellent. The transferred the bike I wanted from another one of their stores in a timely manner. All the associates were very helpful and courteous. They answered all my questions and gave the bike one last check before I took it home with me. Highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Pedal Power in Vernon! The service department went above and beyond for us! We thought we could easily fix something with my son's bike. We were wrong. Had a very unfortunate incident occur when my bike was run over in a parking lot. I contacted Pedal Power not having been a previous customer and they were ready and willing to help with the process of evaluating and assisting through a crash replacement warranty and served as a third party expert for the insurance claim. Special thanks to Owen, who researched repair options and ultimately wrote up the claim reports for the insurance carrier. Very thankful and appreciative for this shops assistance and for treating me like a long time customer - which I will be from here on out. Highly recommend this shop. TY!

My go to bike shop for years. Terrific, high quality service - John helped me out big time recently right before an overnight bikepack trip. Good selection of accessories, parts, etc. Highly recommended.

I kept trying to give them 6 stars but 5 was the max. You can read my other reviews over a Bicycles east in Glastonbury and Cycling Concepts also in Glastonbury. This shop was the winner in my experience. Wish I had saved time and gone here first. Long story short I had a Lecktric bike that needed a new brake caliper and the other stores would not touch it based on a circulated email among local dealers to keep people that bought a brand that they didn't sell out in the cold. i gave the guys at Pedal Power a call to be sure and they said of course. Come on in and we will get it done. When I got there I met a gentleman named Steve Stabile was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and had the bike down practically while we waited. I Highly recommend this place. Dont think about the other places that are just in it for the big sale. You should be there to sell a tube, a valve stem or a new bike. Some sales are small and some are larger. Hope this review helps someone.

The people here are great. Very helpful and informative. I rented a mountain bike here just recently and it was perfect.

Summary: 5 stars, 10/10, two thumbs up. Love the staff, love the service, love my bikes, love that they are locally owned. Prices seemed competitive based on what I could find online and they have a few locations in CT.

I knew absolutely nothing about bikes when I came to this shop with a 50 year old Schwinn. My goal was simply to figure out how much it would be to fix it up. Instead of a quick quote, I was there for hours talking with the staff, hearing from their experiences, learning about cycling, all while they fielded my clearly beginner questions.

Steve was the technician that worked on my bike. The cool thing was that he was interested in more than just the bike itself but made me feel valued as a customer and a beginner. He asked about family, shared about his own family, and helped me understand how to properly use my bike. I felt totally comfortable trusting him with my bike.

The experience with Steve was so great that it led me to talk with Sandy and Alex about a possible bike for my wife. They let me try a couple and helped with specific recommendations based on budget and what the bike was going to be used for. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I did not need. They seemed to really care that we got the right fit for our bike goals.

I was so pleased with their service that I brought my wife the very next day and she found a bike that she loves.

While my bike was going through some fine tuning, Brett and the younger workers (I did not catch their names) talked about trails around CT and RI, their own bikes and styles, and life in general. The whole atmosphere felt so welcoming. I never felt embarrassed about something I did not know and they seemed eager and even excited to help me understand how to get the most out of my equipment.

I was able to pick up by bike today and it is clear that Steve really went above and beyond to keep my 50 year old bike going. What was great is that he was excited for me that my bike was back in action. It really was all a great experience.

I highly recommend this shop. They are a locally owned business, they have a wide range of cycling experiences, they were all eager to share, and they wanted to make sure I was getting what I needed. All the staff I interacted with (Steve, Sandy, Alex, Brett, the two young men whose names I did not catch, and even the other technicians that I briefly interacted with) were down to earth and seemed genuinely happy to help. The staff was so great I cannot imagine using another shop any time soon.

I had a warranty issue on a new Surly bike and the team at Pedal Power exceeded my expectations with their customer service. I have a replacement on the way! I highly recommend shopping here.

Had a great experience here. I like that they're open on Sundays. Bought a nice beginner bike for a reasonable price and a helmet. Helmets are a little expensive but more comfortable than what you'll find at Walmart. Salesman was really attentive and walked me through everything, was super patient when I couldn't remember how to ride a bike....would definitely recommend this place to beginners and experienced bikers alike.

Very nice service. We reached around 5:35 , almost some time before the closing time. But on request they checked the problem in the cycle tyre and replaced the tube in just 15 mins. Price also very good.

Awesome shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They always take the time to help you find what you need and to get your bike dialed in.

Bought helmets here not long ago. Fantastic service from the sales rep. Super knowledgeable, and super friendly too.reasonably priced. I had my bike fixed up last year too. Rides like a dream even though it's almost 20 years old. Highly recommend coming here for all your biking needs!!

I love this shop. I bought my bike here two years ago and I have received the best customer service each and every time I have gone there. My bike wasn't a super expensive bike, I'm not a very serious rider, but they treated me as if I was buying a top of the line bicycle anyway, answering all of my novice questions, helping me buy shoes, etc.

They are offering curbside service during the health crisis, which I took advantage of this week, and it was seamless. They came to my car, in a mask, took my bike, and brought it right back to me. It was a quick fix, and they took care of it while I waited. And when I went to pay, they said "no charge" because it was so quick and easy. I got a phone call a day later just checking in. The service has been this good every time.

I brought my boyfriend's bike to this shop to have them check why his handle bars we wobbly. The gentleman I spoke with not only helped me immensely by fixing his bars but also spoke to me as a person, getting to know me and who I am, rather than just pitching me things I didn't need just so he could make money. It turned out that there was a spacer missing in the headset of his bars and that was replaced in a timely manner. This is not the first time I've had an awesome experience here, either. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. I will be bringing his bike back to these guys every time from now on.

Absolutely FANTASTIC establishment!!! The manager was extraordinarily helpful and was able to offer so many parts and assistance even for a not so conventional "bike" project! The blond hair employee in the back also did an amazing job working on modifying some of the parts to make them work for what I needed! All in all, incredible experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for any bike related needs, (also strongly recommend the toasted s'more gel)!!
