Overman Park

Such a beautiful local park that hosts farmers market and concerts and movies under the moon!

Great park! We go for the farmers market almost every week. Plenty of benches, a covered picnic table area and a half shell stage. The park is two blocks from Main Street, great spot for a picnic if you grab something to go!

Movies Under the Moon. Great summer tradition these last few years. Sad to hear it's not coming back next year

Outdoor concerts in the park by the municipal band each Tuesday evening. New directors this year and the music was great. Bring your own chair, buy a popcorn and enjoy!!

Old school band shell park that the city uses for numerous community events throughout the year. From the farmers market to summer time movies to orchestra nights Overman park could be called the heartbeat of the town. A new park has opened downtown to host many events that use to call Overman Park home. It’s a nice addition and will draw people closer to the ‘buy stuff’ area of downtown but lacks the character, ambience and large green space that Overman Park has in its natural setting. Enjoy your visit!

Took our newly adopted pup Braxton to his first farmers market. He did wonderful!

I was there for the Farmwrs Market and this may be the best one in the area. Very relaxed great vendors nice variety and people were great nice social event.

Seen CF'S local band. It was great! Lots of good music. This is a neat set up.

Just a beautiful park & great place where they have so many ' free live events' the summer & Fall months are so neat - just a great place to enjoy! The location is SO PERFECT too!
I did NOT grow up here in this area - ONE of the NEAT parts that BOTH communities have is a BAND SHELTER (they are so neat too), so NOW as CF has too - it's a great connection! GREAT MEMORIES from my childhood then & still get to enjoy a little part of that here in CF too!

Great place!! Sturgis Falls has the handicap parking right there. Great sidewalks and benches. Food stands are exceptional! The choices...Oooh...it was hard to decide! No bugs...used ecologically friendly sprays. The Marine Band...how could anyone miss it. Brings us all together again. And that's what I think of Overman Park!

What a beautiful park! There are benches so you can sit and soak up nature. The mature trees provide a nice canopy and also enhance the breezes blowing through. A great area just to sit and relax.

Farmers Market. Last day for 2018. We had a great time. Friendly people--customers, local growers and vendors. There was still lots of selections, to bad it's the last day. Bought lots of pumpkins, big to small, gourds and squash to decorate the deck, looks nice. Frkm late spring, summer into fall there's a great variety of garden produce, herbs, plants, flowers and organically grown produce. Lots and lots of baked goodies, crafts, wooden cutting boards etc., jewelry, honey, jams, specialty meats (buffalo, farm raised chix, eggs, pork, etc), lots more. Haven't bought anything there we didn't like.

Family friendly. A great community effort makes this a fun place.

Such a beautiful park right next to Downton cedar falls. They have musical recitals, play outdoor movies and have farmer markets from time to time.

Looking to host a political rally!? Great place.
