An answer to prayer: a juicy Moose burger (no moose meat) and potato salad with bacon. Worth the detour from the interstate!

A nice dinner this evening on the road. We noticed this place while driving on I29 and decided to come give it a try.
The staff was courteous and helpful and the place was clean. We ordered and our food was prompt. I got a hamburger while the wife tried the pulled pork, and my mother Inlaw enjoyed her chicken strips. My father Inlaw got the “ chuckenator” and I am not sure what was on it. He enjoyed it though.

It couldn't have been a more perfect experience! The Sweet chili Asian chicken Pizza was to die for. Cauliflower appetizer was awesome and the warm bread pudding and ice cream delicious. The staff was super friendly! Great job girls....did not disappoint.... I will be going back, well worth the short drive from Omaha.

They have a large variety of unique burgers and sandwiches here. I recommend the Swamp Donkey(cheesburger topped with brisket and onion rings). Quite possibly the greatest name for a burger ever created. There are plenty of delicious fried sides as well. Pickles, cheeseballs, corn fritters, etc... Staff is friendly, and the food is usually always well made and delicious. The brick walls and decor give it a nice vibe as well. The bar is massive and gorgeous. It's worth making a quick stop simply to eat a burger and have a drink at the bar. There's a massive TV behind the bar and plenty more around the building as well.

The food is delicious! I've had the burgers, chicken fingers and pulled pork sammich! Always leave with a full belly. The staff are great and the woodwork is beautiful!! Highly recommended

First time visiting this interesting place on the square in Glenwood. The staff was helpful with the many options on the menu. Our party had the Mini Moose Burger, Crispy pork tenderloin, and one of the Chicken sandwiches. All of our meals were very good and the service was quick. We will stop again.

Great little joint to enjoy a quick dinner. Have been with my sons and my wife several times and always walk away full and ready for the big nap..... service is quick and straight shot with order at bar, self service drinks, and delivery to your table. It's not the Ritz, but the atmosphere is enjoyable for near anyone. Encourage folks to check it out if in the area.

Great steak salad and wonderful mushroom Swiss burger. Great onion rings.

Awesome place, if you like a little history and a bit of old time sitting, nice place to dine.

Had great experiences multiple times at buck snort! I've tried the moose burger, white trail nachos, and many appetizers. All of them are great and I would recommend them to anyone. Probably the best nachos I've ever had! Thanks to the girl that allowed me to customize them a little bit (weird pregnancy cravings and aversions) she was so nice!

We stopped in for dinner on our way through town on a Friday evening. The place seemed a bit short staffed but our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food itself was wonderful, I would highly recommend the patty melt and the pretzel fries! Overall a wonderful stop along one of my favorite motorcycle routes and we will definitely be back again!

Good food, attentive service. Worked with us requesting an appetizer combo as one of our meals (a fine menu suggestion by the way). I keep going in to get the prime rib melt special and then getting distracted by some great Burger-of-the-Month (a fried egg is an under-appreciated burger topping). Great job!

We visit family in Glenwood and love eating here. The pork tenderloin sandwich is great. If you are in town you must go there.

We eat here at least once a month or so. For being a "counter service" restaurant, the staff are very attentive. Every meal has been good to great, with the exception of one, and that was because I tried something different for me, and just didn't like it. It was not the fault of Buck Snort. I recommend this place to anyone who asks me for places to eat in Glenwood.

The staff was friendly and helpful! It was busy, but we were still served in a timely manner and checked on by the cook!
