I had a great experience! I had never shopped here before but I found Andrew extremely kind and helpful. You would think I could by shoes to fit me own feet, however the first 2 pairs I bought did not work out. I came in to return them and Andrew and Hailey worked extra hard to help me find a good fit. They were so patient and knowledgeable. I walked out a happy customer and I will be back when I need new shoes.

You get what you pay for. These shoes are great for specialized feet issues or previous injuries from quality brands. Our family has varied needs and the shoes here work for all of us. The store shares inventory with other Brown's in the area so we get larger sizes in a couple days with no obligation to buy before trying. That means no return hassle.

I had a wonderful experience at this location the first time I visited it this week. One of the sales associates, Jasmine, was so kind and attentive to my needs looking for a dress shoe. At the time, I was wearing a pair of dress shoes that had a loose seam. She took the time to look for a nearby shoe repair shop and wrote it down for me. I appreciate her service and I will absolutely be coming back.

I came in to accomplish the task of finding some shoes for this summer. I loathe shopping and even more dislike shopping for shoes for my picky feet. Along with picky feet, I'm particular about any thing I put on myself. Jasmine greeted me promptly after entering the store and spent about an hour listening to me find something wrong with almost every shoe she presented to me. I was able to walk out with three pairs of shoes and am extremely happy with the service and patience I received from Jasmine. I will absolutely be back this fall. Thank you Jasmine. 😊

I can't say enough good about the owner and staff. Super friendly, kind, and helpful!! I've been going here for years. This morning they drove to Oskaloosa to get a pair of shoes so I could have them before my flight. Now that's service!

Inviting staff with lots of options. I went in looking for some steel toed work shoes. They let me look at what I wanted and then showed me some options they had on hand and helped me try them on. They even offered to order some shoes that they didn't have on hand since my feet are on the larger side for women. They also save your purchase information in their computer so of you want the exact same shoe they know what you got which was a nice touch.

I came in looking for warm boots and was delighted to find they had exactly the style I had been looking at online from a couple other retailers. The other places had them as online only in my size but Brown's had my size on hand. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Love the boots and the pricing was less expensive than the online retailers, which was a very pleasant surprise!

I absolutely love the shoe selection and love the staff. I had trouble finding the right shoe for after fútbol season and a nice handsome guy helped pick me out a great Birkenstock! That same day I asked for a job and got hired! I love Browns Shoe fit co.!! Definitely visit and get yourself some shoes!

By far, the best shoe shopping experience I have ever had. The sales team was amazing as was the store manager. I have MS and balance issues. The store manager went above and beyond helping me find the right shoe with support and comfort. We will definitely go back on our next purchase!

I walked in and was promptly greeted, the person who helped me seemed very knowledgeable and when the shoes I went in thinking I wanted didn't fit how I wanted the sales associate came out with a brand I didn't even know existed that turned out to be a great fit. First visit to this store and it was great. It will be my first stop next time I need another pair of shoes.

Joshua was very quick in greeting, and overall very helpful with my shopping experience. Offered helpful advice and showed me different styles I may have liked. I usually have a hard time finding shoes in my size, (12 1/2) and they had no shortage of shoes in my size! They also Carried Birkenstocks which I have yet to be able to find at any other major retailer here in Ankeny. Will recommend to anyone looking for quality shoes. Thanks again Joshua!

Our young man that waited on us was VERY helpful and bought 3 different Birks styles to each of us. I wear orthotics so shoes are difficult to fit me comfortably. He did an outstanding job assisting us. Thank you. I will deffinately look him up when I come to Ankeny for shoes/sandals again.

They have great customer service. I went in there today with a shoe issue, when I had purchased my shoes a while back and not realizing I had 2 different widths of shoes until recently they were very nice on getting me the same widths of shoe, so I walked out of there with a brand new pair of shoes at no cost. Thank you very much. I will be back to buy shoes when I need them👍

Did not make a purchase today but the staff was very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have a shoe in store they can order it for you to see in person, with no obligation to buy. That's absolutely awesome!

Very nice and helpful staff! As soon as you walk in they talk to you about what shoe you are looking for and help you find the right size and price! GREAT shoes! I got multiple pairs of birks and sandals from here and I will continue to purchase from here

Amazing customer service. Prices may seem high, but if you go cheap for your feet, you'll pay in other ways. I love Brown's service and products.
