Main Street Cafe & Bakery

Hosted a baby shower with Main Street and it was amazing!!! Best experience I have ever had throwing a shower, I would recommend them to everyone looking to throw a shower, or even just looking for an event space! Everyone was amazing and so easy to work with, Dee was one of the best planners I have worked with, food was unbelievable, and desserts were beautiful and delicious!!!

I love eating at Main Street Cafe when I visit family in Iowa. The salads, quinoa bowls, sandwiches, and soups are delicious. I loved the caramelized peaches, pecans, and feta salad with chicken. The cinnamon rolls are huge and yummy - well worth the calories. All the cakes and cookies look yummy too. A great place to meet for lunch.

What a gem. We were there during lunch hour, busy ! They have an amazingly effective food ordering system, we waited like 4 min and then we already got our orders in. Then we sad down, plenty of room and seating, within 5 min we had our food delivered to our table. Oh and it was good, really good. I will definitely take family, friends or co-workers here to eat. A great experience

Last month we got four slices of cake and took them out to eat for my daughters 26th birthday celebration. We loved it soooo much I went back today for my wife’s 54th birthday and we did the exact same thing…four new flavors. Service was fabulous. Price was great. And the cakes are the best in town. Will do this again.

A lot bigger than you think it is - plenty of options for anyone out there to have a good meal for everyone.

Food was good. Came for Mother's Day as we traveled home after an Iowa State graduation. Was the only place opened before 9am, too. Very attentive staff. We had an "odd" bottle of OJ, but they gave us a fresh one that was perfect. Not far off 35 and close to area hotels. I'll be coming back when in the area.

We ordered a cake for my mothers birthday and it was absolutely perfect, beautifully done. We couldn’t have asked for a better cake to celebrate her day. Brooke was excellent to work with and did an amazing job. The cake was delicious and a huge hit!

This place is so good that it runs out of seating often! I recommend you try the Apple Burger. Delicious! 🤤

We dropped by to try something that had creme Brule. While it wasn't breakfast time one of the staff went back to get us a sample! All of our food was so tasty and healthy. The employees were all friendly and amazing! This will definitely be a place we stop again

The way this place operates is impressive. Even when they are slammed, you will be in and out quickly without quality of food or service being sacrificed. New Blueberry burger was fantastic! A staple Truffle burger still a favorite, & so many soups, cookies & cake slices to choose from, it makes you say "what diet?". All so healthy good! Family, couple & single friendly, with lots of young smiles, cradle to toddler, youthful, & smart teens, career folk, & Grandma & Grandpa's. A Special Valentines Dinner coming soon.

I've always had incredible food and service here. Their menu has so much on it that I have a difficult time deciding. Make sure you get a slice of cake!

The place was fairly busy, but the time to order was almost too fast! The food came to our table faster than I have been served at many fast food joints, but obviously the food here is wildly better. Savory, restaurant quality dishes and service with a smile. One of the managers stopped by a couple times to check on us, asked about our food choices, and even shared some of the history of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Wait staff was very kind and considerate, menu was hugely diverse, lots of options (a bit overwhelmingly so), including breakfast food, all kinds of coffee, smoothies, acai bowls, waffles, and french toast.

I ordered the #9 and the apple cinnamon french toast, as well as a raspberry toasted marshmallow latte (not pictured)

This is a favorite for my husband and I. Whether you are getting breakfast, lunch or dinner everything here is delicious! I have tried many items on the menu and never been disappointed, Their bakery is the best, especially for gluten free options! The staff are always very friendly and so FAST!

Absolutely delicious large crowd, but they got us in quickly. We had a white cheddar cauliflower soup that I will never forget. Bread was fresh and delicious on my sandwich.

We catered food for my mothers birthday (20 people) and it was wonderful. Ordering was easy and delivery was on time. The pulled pork, pasta salad, and especially the cake (raspberry almond) was all delicious. Brooke was especially kind and professional taking our order. Thank you.

This place is amazing. I’ve been here a few times after moving from CO and it’s by far my favorite. Not only is the food exceptional and straight up delicious but it’s quick and the service is a notch above. Family owned as I found out speaking with Ryan the manager. This is a place that makes it easy to hand over my money after a long day. Can’t wait to try breakfast this weekend. Great job Main Street.

I have been to Main Street a few times, and enjoy it every time. The food is interesting and always perfect. The Cuban sandwich ranks up there with the best I have ever had.

Just had my dad’s 75th surprise birthday party here and it was awesome!! Dee, the event coordinator, is fantastic. Super quick response time, decor and set up looked great, and she was available during the whole event in case we needed anything. GREAT place to throw an event!
