Whenever Sam's gas is closed, it's nice they are next door & still have reasonable gas prices. I prefer Sam's so I can use Scan & Go at the pumps, but this place is a nice 2nd!

Garrett is what every customer service person should model themselves after. Plus cheapest gas in town plus free popcorn with gas or a quarter if you don't get gas. Should be able to put 10 stars. Also free air compressor but if you use it, please roll it back up. No one does and it keeps breaking from being ran over.

Usually the cheapest unleaded gas in the area by a fair amount, however, that also means it's the busiest. Sometimes it's a little congested. I have saved as much as 40 cents per gallon here compared to getting gas in Ames on my commute.

This place is a God send...As of Aug 2020, this place is the MECCA of best cost gas in all of Iowa! I wish all cities and gas stations around Ankeny would take a lesson from Fleet Farm. Pumps are accessible even if u r pulling a trailer. And anyone can buy gas from there. Love the gas station...love the franchise store.

Gas pumps are open 24hrs x 7. Pay@pump with credit card. Clean and well lit. After closing, area is unattended secluded.
