Hintz Family Dentistry

Had my first appointment with them today. The office waiting room was very clean. The chairs in the waiting room are very comfortable. Everyone was so nice and friendly that it makes not dread going to the dentist.

My family was in search of a new dental office as they aged out of their current pediatric office and we decided to give Hintz a try. Our experience from start to finish has been nothing but amazing! The office is very clean and newly updated. I would highly recommend this office for future dental work!!

All of the staff were very kind and professional. They were able to not only get me in quickly as a new patient but took very good care of my dental needs. I would 10/10 recommend to all my family and friends.

All of the staff members there were super kind and helpful. The doctors and hygienists took a great care of me while I was there. They addressed all of my concerns and needs. They helped recommend me with the right resources I needed. I really recommend Hintz Family Dentistry to others. Hands down best place to go.

I was nervous going here because I have only 1 Dentist in a very long time. He is perfect, you do not feel 1 bit of ANY SHOT!! But the prices are through the roof and more. I found Hintz Family dental and they are super great, and a root canal appointment, I'm sure it will go well!!!!

I love Hintz Family Dentistry and have went there for years. Dr. Hanson fitted me for dentures and I couldn't be happier with the results! Definitely a wonderful dentist office.

I absolutely am impressed with this place! This was my second visit and I love it. They are thorough and gentle usually I have to be numbed to get my cleanings done but not here! I wish I could remember my dental hygienist's name and the Dr. That saw me today but I can't they were awesome thank you for making my dental visit a good experience!

My wife and I recently became patients with Hintz and are very pleased with the services provided, as well as friendly staff. I have had a cleaning on one visit and fixing a cracked filling (previous dentist) on another and each appointment was less than an hour from enter to exit.

Absolutely love the care I’ve received from Hintz Family Dentistry. As an individual with alot of fears and anxiety about the dentist, the staff here have made me feel safe and secure during the procedures.

They are so incredibly nice and dedicated to making you feel comfortable! They do exceptional dental work no matter what type of insurance you have and they make sure you know exactly what is happening and what to expect before just blindly working inside your mouth. I have zero anxiety going there!!!! So thankful I found them!!!

They're absolutely wonderful with my toddler... the greatest medical professionals I've ever seen interact with kids. Hands down. And I'm picky.

Edited to add: I just started going to them for myself now, and they've basically saved my teeth. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of.

Both dentists are incredibly kind. My dental hygienist today was incredible. I can't recommend them enough. They're angels on earth. Love them.

Just make an appointment with them. Trust me

Had a cavity filled. Everyone was so super nice!! Definitely recommend them! And they take medicade so that's even better!

They always do a great job, and it never takes very long to get everything done. I also appreciate they keep notes on your preferences, so they preemptively know what to say or do that's catered towards your liking.

Very friendly, my appointment was on time, my hygienist was very friendly and explain everything! Would definitely recommend!

Staff members are all very nice. Office is clean with a spacious waiting area. I have not had an issue with being scheduled for an appointment.

First time visit, got me in on a cancellation. Everyone was super friendly and the care provided… very thorough. They took care of me even though I was an emotional wreck, they took the time to create a care plan and explain it so that I could understand what the process would be like. They also referred me for surgical procedures and explained all of that very well. I would highly recommend!

I went to have an infected split big molar pulled Dr.Hintz evened out my irregular front tooth as well.The front tooth like nice and in a few days the pulled tooth are will be better.Thenk you Dr.Hintz and staff your very professional I highly recommend you

I’m new to Ankeny and was in search of a new dentist and found a good one! Nice office and facilities, friendly staff, open early at 7am. Dr. Hintz was kind and professional.
They accommodated my son and I for X-rays and cleanings at 7:30am and we arrived early and they were able to get us in early and out the door quickly.
