Food taste good and pricing is very fair compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Drinks are good and great service as well

This is such an amazing place! The food is delicious. The music is great. The staff are a bunch of stars. Seriously, everyone is friendly and happy and nice. I love the atmosphere here. The servings of food are huge and so yummy. I had enough to take home for two more meals. The price is good here too. I definitely recommend!

I've been so anxious to try this place and I'm so happy we made it there tonight! They have a large menu so there's something for everyone! Even those kids who are picky eaters and only want mac'n'cheese or a hamburger... So they can go and be happy while you indulge in those amazing margaritas and other Mexican favorites!!
We got the chicken chimichaga (one shredded chicken and one grilled chicken) the kids chicken enchilada and El Pastor tacos. Everything was seasoned and so amazing! The El pastor tacos were a little saltier than I'd prefer but still delicious none the less! AND we have so much leftover!
It took a while to get our drinks at first and a little longer than my kids were wanting sit still to get our check at the end BUT there was only 1 server and you could see they were taking extra measures to sanitize everything, which is much appreciated during this whole pandemic.
We will definitely be back for more!

I was skeptical about this place when I decided to try it out. Living in Houston, Texas for over a decade, has treated me to some real authentic Mexican food.

This place had very good salsa, chips, micheladas(beer with tomato or Clamato juice and other spices...a must-try), chicken enchiladas(delicious homemade tomatillo sauce), authentic made Mexican rice and beans.

Great wait staff. We didn't have to ask for anything. I had the Tacos Carnitas. Fantastic! My son had a burrito that could have fed the whole table. Definitely going again to the Ankeny location.

Food tastes great here at Mojitos. Very friendly service, with a relaxed atmosphere. In the picture are the Texas Burritos: one chicken and one steak, smothered in queso cheese, with the meat grilled to perfection. My family and I will definitely be back again soon!

Very authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. There portions are huge. By huge I mean huuuuuuuggggggeeeeeee.

Got doordash last night and omg this was amazing. I got the fajita chimi the best thing.

It's legit. Very good salsa...my 1st test of a new Mexican eatery. The Pollo Loco was tender, juicy and perfectly prepared. Top notch and a great price

Salsa and cheese dip- some of the best around here. Food was great. Had the Vicki's burrito and chicken chimichangas. Both were packed with meat, tasted great. Servers were all friendly, attentive, quick. Will be going back for sure. Oh, and a free tequila shot to end the meal was a nice touch

This was our first visit here. The staff are all nice and friendly. The food is delicious and the mojitos are good. Definitely authentic and worth the visit!

Carnitas dinner: the meat was great by itself they added sautéed onion and bacon Verde sauce on the side was exceptional as well.
I tried asking how they prepared the meat... secret. Lol.

We ate at Mojitos for lunch and were seated right away. We were immediately served with chips and a wonderful tasty salsa. Our drinks came back quickly. Our meal was at our table in minutes. The food was fresh and good. This would be in my top 10 Mexican restaurants in the Des Moines, Ankeny area. The restaurant itself was nothing super fancy, but there were plenty of booths, and everything was clean. The service was great and the workers were pleasant and quick. The three of us ate for about $50.

THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE AREA. THE SALSA AND CHIPS WERE FRESH AND OFF THE HOOK! DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO EXPLAIN IT BUT IT REMINDED ME OF MY MOMS COOKIN FOR US GROWING UP AS TEJANOS IN WEST TEXAS! IF YOU ARE A LATINO YOU WILL AGREE.

The food here exudes a distinct freshness that is immediately discernible upon tasting. Unlike dishes that have been prepared hours or even days prior and carry an unpleasant sodium buildup, everything I've tried at this establishment tastes like it was just made. This is the reason I keep returning, not to mention their delectable Horchatas and chori-queso, as well as the warm chips and salsa. The servers are always coming back to see how they can help. This deserves a 5 star!!
