Henry's Diner

When you come to Henry's, everyone knows everyone. It's a small town diner filled with people that have stories. They might not be directly telling you their stories, but you can hear them all around. The waitresses are kind, humble and fast. The food is yummy. As you can see, I didn't get a chance to grab a photo of the Cinnamon Roll... it's that good. Small town feel, big time flavor. The biscuits and gravy were a hit and the French toast reminds you of how mom made it. Definitely worth a little drive outside of the city.

Great place for small town family dining and good food at a very competitive price. Here is the menu. We ordered the 12oz steak, Prime Rib, and Fried chicken dinners (pictured). Staff was very attentive when the place was full. Lots of seating to accommodate no waiting most nights.

This was our first visit and we will definitely return! The waitress was quick and attentive throughout. The good was brought out quickly and everything e had tasted delicious and the portions were large. I absolutely loved their sweet potato fries.

Was very very busy on a Fri night. Food was excellent, staff was great helping each other out. Will definitely be going back. I highly recommend them

Took the scenic Old Lincoln Highway out of Omaha and discovered this little gem. Perfect little diner with a big menu. I came at lunch time and had the Lunch Special Goulash because it smelled so good as I was entering. It was excellent. I also had a half order of Open Face Beef over mashed potatoes covered in brown gravy just to be sure I'd be full as a tick. Reminded me of all the good Mom & Pop places we'd stop at on the old highways when I was a kid before interstates and chain restaurants took over the world. I'll stop in again if I get close.

There's a GOOD reason they HIGHLY recommend calling ahead to make a reservation!!

Went there for first time a week ago . Very pleasant experience. Good food and very reasonable prices. Our waitress was outstanding. Reason why three stars on atmosphere is due to sitting close to door and it was cold and drafty whenever the door opened

Whoa! Just stopped in for first time here and got the brisket dinner with sweet potatoe fries that came with marshmallow dip. Awesome!

Best breakfast around!! I had the chicken fried steak and my husband had an omelette both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly and the reasonable prices were just the topping on the cake. Phenomenal experience! You should make the drive from Omaha and support a local restaurant. You won’t regret it!

Best fried chicken! And the pies are to die for! Friendly service. Will be back!

Great food ate here after going to the Hitchcock nature center had a good time with the family after a hike.

The rack of ribs, 5 stars all the way, the people are so very friendly.

So we tried this place 3 different days, 3 different meal times, to get an idea of what is offered, general customer base and ambiance, quality of food, etc.
Happy to report, it was really good all 3 times! Seated promptly, offered suggestions off the menu as well as the specials board. I loved the Prome Rib dinner, it was flavorful and cooked to order, and better quality cut of meat than what I got at Texas roadhouse, and better service here! 😋
Breakfasts were good portions, cooked as requested, and the bacon was delicious! American fries ( country potatoes) were really good here too!
Lunch sandwiches were on point. I loved the club, he got the patty melt... both were great.

Tonight was my daughter and I first time being there. I had the Prime rib. Everything from the service to the food and dessert was excellent. The waitress was happy go lucky even though they were packed. We will definitely be going again.
