From the start, he expertly answered every question I could think of, and was also so patient and kind to my young daughter, as she tagged along during our initial fact-finding visit. He was exceptional at listening and advising, helping to find the perfect treadmill that best fit my budget and running needs. He seamlessly interacted with myself and another potential buyer at the same time, making us both feel like we were getting all of his attention – an impressive feat! On a follow-up visit, I was able to run on a few of the different treadmill options we had narrowed the search to, which was important and invaluable for me to feel confident in the decision. At the end, Trey made the purchase process easy and efficient, while preparing me for everything I would need to know for the delivery, as well as expert tips to care and maintain the treadmill for years to come. It's only been a few months of running on the treadmill, though I couldn't be happier with the purchase. This place is awesome and Trey is the man! He has a lot of knowledge about all the equipment they sell and is great to talk to about anything fitness related. This place has so much variety when it comes to fitness equipment and is the one stop shop to go if you need anything fitness. Trey will go out of his way to help the customer and make sure you feel comfortable with any purchase you'll make. 10/10 for this place and for Trey. I've purchased an Olympic weight bench and Olympic Barbell here years ago and they still look and act like they're brand new, also got a new Treadmill that's fantastic and this place provides coverage if your motor breaks (they'll come to your house and fix it). This place is great!!

Second purchase from the Ankeny Johnston Fitness store in just over a year. Great place to buy. No pressure, and very helpful staff. Trey Washington helped us with both purchases. Trey sold us a treadmill a year ago, and most recenly, an upgrade from free weights to a Hoist all in one gym. He was great, and addressed our fitness needs.
