Big O Tires

Best place around the metro to get your car fixed! They’ve done tires, oil changes, and a starter for us! My engine was eating oil and they helped me have the terms to work with the dealership to get it covered by warranty! They are courteous and kind with every interaction! Only place I feel comfortable taking my vehicle!

I’ve always had great experiences at Big-O, and this time was no exception. Tom went above and beyond with his customer service to ensure that our van was fixed in a timely manner and that we understood the issues. Highly recommend!

Had another great experience with Ankeny Big O. Needed some new tires put on my truck. Stopped in for a quote and they helped me with some options and also mentioned that will price match competition, which they did. I've always had a great experience and service at this location so of course they won my business. They had the tires delivered next day and had my tires installed and an alignment in short order. Thank you for the friendly and prompt service!

I was driving through Des Moines on my way home with 280 miles to go when I hit a pothole on I35 and blew my tire. I was able to get my car to Big O Tires , where they exceeded all expectations. They did not have the tire I needed in house and the only one that was available was in their warehouse but they were not getting anymore deliveries for the day. Luke pulled some strings and had someone go get the tire from the warehouse. I was in and out of Big O Tires in just a little over an hour. They certainly did not have to go above and beyond like they did, but they made this very stressful day a little brighter. Their service just proves that there are good people in this world. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

This was an awesome experience. I had my car towed here when it wouldn’t start, and they were able to get me in within an hour. My car was fixed the next day (it was like 3 pm when I dropped it off originally). They quoted me $800, and when I picked up my car Taylor told me I ended up saving about $200 because they forgot to add in the labor cost when they quoted me — but since they quoted me $800 they only charged me $800. What impeccable customer service and honesty.

The next day my car wouldn’t start again, so I called them and asked what the options were. They said they’d reimburse me for the tow back to the shop. I had it towed there and they found a loose connection and had it fixed within a few hours and reimbursed me for the tow. I worked primarily with Taylor (female) and Taylor (male), and they were both incredibly nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. 10/10 recommend

We had a great experience. We were instantly greeted as we walked through the door. Taylor was very welcoming and made us feel like we were a VIP customer. From what we could see the shop looked very clean and organized and the staff was actively working. The main lobby was immaculate. The staff just seemed like they liked working at the store very happy and upbeat. We will definitely be back to this location. Thank you for the great experience!! Stores like this is what makes life long customers.

I had a fabulous experience. Taylor was very helpful and pleasant over the phone, and my conversation with her was a large factor in why we choose to get our new tires from Big O. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the store gave positive vibes and you could tell that it is a fun and pleasant to work - which makes it even more pleasant for patrons.

After driving home last night, I unexpectedly got a flat tire. I was able to get my vehicle to Big O Tires shortly after 6pm when they close in the hopes of just leaving it there overnight and contacting them the next morning. To my surprise, Taylor (female Taylor!) who was still there, immediately began assisting my boyfriend and I despite the fact she was already closed for the day! She was so kind and patient with me. She let us in to the lobby so I could explain my situation and then came right out with us to check my vehicle. Every step of the way she was so accommodating and helpful. The next morning she called me right away to explain my options to replace my tires and answered all my questions. I was able to pick up my vehicle right after work. The whole experience was so much more than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much to Taylor and the entire staff! I would highly recommend them!!

I used to use this place when I worked for the local UBreakIFix, and they did great work for the company vans, you can find my previous review on this location. I have been out of state for the past 2-ish years and had an opportunity to move back and needed some work done on my vehicle. I can attest they have not lost their touch in that time. Quick work, done faster then expected, and got me back on the road rather cheaply!

Awesome experience with all the staff here at the Ankeny location. The tires I ordered were there next day, the only delay installing them was my own availability timeline. Taylor was extremely helpful in her recommendations. Extremely professional but friendly and approachable. Would recommend this location for anyone.

Stopped because we had a flat tire while traveling. Dan was professional, considerate and understanding. Told us what we needed, made a useful suggestion and got us on the road again quickly. If I lived closer, I’d definitely return!

We needed some help with getting a tire changed and repaired so we stopped in at the Ankeny store. The young lady that is the manager there was supper helpful and gave us a great deal. Service was pretty fast and the service tech was very pleasant. Thanks to the store.

Christian Dan and the rest of the crew does such a great job. They stayed after hours to fix my car made sure it was safe to drive and was very very very nice! And made it cost effective for a college student.
