This is a good place if you want a garden plot. Sunny for over half the day, with tree shade in the afternoon. When you rent a plot for the year, you have access to all the bags of fertilizer(manure and organic material). You can plant vegetables or flowers or whatever you like. Plots are about 12' by 4'.The people who run it are knowledgeable and helpful. They are officially there on Saturday mornings, but are available by phone. Everyone who gardens there is friendly. There are picnic tables there if you want to picnic there with family or friends. I grew a ton of tomatoes there in 2017 and there was never a problem with kids or pest animals. They bring in kids from day cares and people from MCC to help with maintaining the mulch covered walkways.
