Headwaters Park

Beautiful place. We were vending at an event so I didn't get to see much of it, but as we drove around to load and unload and find parking, I was able to see parts . The bridge was gorgeously lit!

06_23_23 My girlfriend and I came down to Greek festival. My first time to festival they had lots of of food choices and tons of beer. I had a pork slouvake,my girlfriend had a euro. We also bought some pastries that looked delicious.😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍.

Excellent park, whether events are going on or not. Beautiful trails with statues and plaques to read, and a view of the St. Mary's River from up on the bridge connecting to the Old Fort. Plenty of squirrels, rabbits, and even cardinals to spot, and benches for resting.

Visited for the first time for Fort Wayne Pride. The Park is bigger than it seems. The side with the really big pavilion can accommodate a LOT of people. Across the street (where the smaller pavilion is at) is still pretty spacious. It’s maybe half the size of the other.

October is an incredibly beautiful month for a picnic in Headwaters Park. The trees are breathtaking and the weather in Fort Wayne can still reach 69 or 70. There weren't very many people in the park so it felt like a secluded autumn fairyland.

My daughter and her husband got engaged on that same bridge 2 years ago and spending the afternoon with their new baby was a perfect afternoon.

On the north end of downtown, Headwaters Park is the gateway to downtown. There's so much room to play and run through the park, even in autumn.

Actually, I was at Promenade park. On August 10th ,2019. The newly opened Promenade Park was introduced to the public. One of a three phases to more are in the works bei g added to Promande Park. The first fast is well thought out, accessible for everyone, including the disabled and the blind. This park is by far very well thought out for all ages to enjoy. It includes a variety of things such as a garden to walk through, a water and stone feature for children to splash in. Adult bench swings down by the river. Adult beverage and cafe on the premises. An elevated trail above the river greenway over looking the river and the promenade, a children's playground. A double stage for bands to play on.

Fort Wayne has really upgraded with the addition of Promenade Park. River front development is making some good progress. The park offers good flow a many activities. Some activities cost, like the bar & grill, boat rides, and boat rentals. Some are free hiking, wading in the man made stream, playing ping pong, foosball, and corn hole.

Saturday was a good experience.

A large clean part that offers many events year round. Was just here recently for ice skating. It's a very nice rink with affordable pricing. $5 for an adult and $2 doe skate rentals. There is a small cafe that offers drinks and snacks. Parking is free and is located within walking distance of a couple restaurants.

It's nice if ur looking for a nice quiet place to sit and relax

Took my kids and they had a blast. We went ice skating. It's very busy when kids are on Christmas break. They have a concession stand that sell hot and cold beverages. Big pickles, nachos and candy. It's really nice to go at night when they have the Christmas lights. It's a great family tradition.

Oh, Headwaters Park, you're the oasis in the concrete jungle! 🌳🏙 Your green spaces are like the lungs of the city, giving us fresh air and room to breathe away from the hustle and bustle. It's like stepping into a hidden paradise, where squirrels play hide-and-seek and ducks have serious quacking contests. 🐿🦆 And don't even get me started on those picnics – trying to keep the sneaky pigeons away from my sandwiches is an adventure in itself! 🥪😄 Headwaters Park, you make urban life a walk in the park, quite literally! 🚶‍♂🌿

Loved being at headwaters Park for pride fest! Everyone was kind, welcoming, courteous. Fun atmosphere everytime!

Been here multiple times for a variety of music and festival events. Very clean and well maintained regarding trash. Great location m, it seems all of fort wayne gravitates here during the summer for numerous festivals. I keep coming out for it all.

Was in town for a power soccer tournament at turnstone. Found out there was a rib cookoff here, so decided to attend. Really nice place. Lots of space under the canopy for events and for a wheelchair user to get around.

Loved being able to hear different music.

Crown jewel of parks in Fort Wayne. Not only is it scenic and historic, but most big events in the city take place in the park's permanent structure.
