Special Combo # 1 was really delicious! My wife had the Tex-Mex and it was also great! We definitely try to swing by whenever we're back in town!

**UPDATE**

Came here for Thanksgiving this year! Great food!

My first visit here was amazing. The portions were large and delicious. The crepes taste like French toast. The soup is great. A plate full of salad. The livers and onions were pretty good too. I most definitely will be back.

Great little spot. VERY extensive menu. We just had basic breakfast foods, but it was very good. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant looked clean and really cute decor.
If you're ever in Ft. Wayne give them a try!

The food here is very delicious. Handmade potatoes, and delicious country. Fried steak chili is very good but not as good as my wife’s.

The food was excellent, the service was amazing, Holly took the time to explain everything to us, with details, she even brought some extra soup to try it out. The soup is kinda sour, likes it has lemon, very different and nice flavor.

First of all, this was a cold snowy day, they had the parking lot and sidewalks salted.
I was greeted right off the bat. Everyone is very friendly! The menu is large with lots of options, all at a moderate price. I got the fried fish. It came with large dinner rolls, crispy battered fries, tasty creamy coleslaw, tarter sauce, perfectly fried beer batter fish. Did I mention it also came with soup?!? I ordered the French Onion, it came out to the table like French Onion soup should in the finest restaurants.... very tasty! My server was Geri, she made sure my drink was full and took care of everything, all with a smile on her face. I'm glad I came here, you will too!

This is as close to a NY diner as I could expect to find in Fort Wayne Indiana! The biggest difference between Liberty Diner and a diner in the NJ/NYC area is that everyone here was really nice and happy to have us. 🤣 It has been a long time since I have had a lemon chicken and rice soup or potato pancakes, so that was a real treat. The meatloaf was a big hit and the greek salad probably had $4 or more worth of feta on it. This was definitely worth an out of the way stop!

My wife and I stopped for a dinner and I had the 1/2 Fried Chicken with Fries and coleslaw. It was very, very good. Our server Carrie was excellent. We will definitely be back to sample more of their specials and menu

Great food! Their menu is special compared to other diners. Great portions! They have a wide variety of things you can’t get elsewhere. Our server was wonderful! And the food came quick! It was like magic lol. I would recommend Liberty for breakfast and lunch. Good experience!

AWESOME PLACE!! We had the pleasure of visiting Liberty Diner while visiting Fort Wayne for our father's memorial service. We were staying across the street and were pleasantly surprised to find a diner so close, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews. I will say first off that our waitress Chris was by far one of the best waitresses I have ever been served by, she was friendly, attentive, had no issues answering any question about items on the menu...and believe me there were many I think she told us over 300 items...it took us near 30 minutes to decide what to order as they all sounded so appetizing...not once did she get annoyed when we asked her opinion about an item or exactly what was in it, as many do when u ask too many questions and they are busy, she left us numerous times while we were deciding, each time coming back within 5 minutes or so to make she were weren't ready. She joked and laughed with us the whole time and was very pleasant to all of her customers that we saw her wait on, definitely a top notch hard working waitress that seemed to really enough her job, because yes that does make a difference. Once we decided on a meal we were very pleased with ALL of our food. The chicken was a fresh local, little roaster chicken, as they should be, nice and tender, and the roasted potato was actually much different then the roasted potatoes made in our area and definitely the best I have ever had, they were not cut in pieces as normally served in my local diner, but a whole half of potato roasted..delicious..yes it truly was. The chili was great, especially for those who don't like a lot of beans, there was a smaller bean than I'm used to having in chili, not kidney beans, and there were just enough..also had a nice little kick to it, not too spicy but just enough heat. The potato skins were again one of if not the best I have ever had (and I come from Long Island NY the capital of potato skins, a staple at any local bar), they were off the charts, they were first deep fried then smothered in melted cheddar and nice crispy bacon, not chewy half cooked fatty bacon, nice crispy lean bacon, served with sour cream and salsa. And yes we got a little basket of fresh baked bread, crackers and butter along with our meal. The decor was nice, not tacky like many diners in NY, they still had the strip of neon known for diners but it was not too much, the place was very clean, not leftover food under the table, all the condiments fully stocked on the table, and even the coffee was hot and FRESH at almost 9pm...even the decaf. I never write such a long review but felt it necessary to be sure those visiting the area or locals that may never have dined here, make a pit stop at Liberty Diner if you want a delicious, reasonably priced meal with equally excellent service...oh and by the way THEY HAVE CREPES...not a lot of places make them anymore due to the inconvience and time it takes to make a good one and it's one of my favorites..we will be here for 2 more days and most definitely plan on having breakfast there Sunday before we leave...and yes I am having the crepes, and hooefully Chris us our waitress again! The last thing that my sister and I loved were the flowers on the table...in the middle of winter this small quaint little place has FRESH flowers on every table..never have I seen that, most are fake, they were so pretty we thought they were and didn't realize they were real until we touched them..it was a great touch and lets you knows that the owners truly respect and take care of their restaurant..who does those things anymore? Liberty Diner does...and no I am not related to nor do I know anyone that owns it or works there, this is an honest and true review..and I like to give a good review to a deserving place and staff..so Thank You Liberty Diner for making our not so pleasant visit to Fort Wayne and expected pleasure!

I stopped in on my way home from work . I ordered the garden salad and a cup of soup. The salad was à HUGE salad. Enough for 2 days. And the soup...I ordered the lemon chicken and rice. 1000 island dressing make it them self. (The best) everyone is so friendly and nice.

The Liberty is such a wonderful diner. It feels like a step back in time. In fact, meals here tend to last longer than planned because the conversation and experience are so enjoyable. I’m a creature of habit and always get breakfast, but the food always looks good.

Whenever I have to travel to Ft Wayne I’m eating at Liberty Diner. The service is always friendly and fun. The food is always good and there’s something for everyone. The coconut pie and baklava are both amazing. I eat one there and take one to go.

This was my first visit. Upon walking in, I it was apparent that the place is dated in decor and furnishings. However, it was clean, and I was greeted promptly. My server brought coffee right away and took my order for breakfast. With just a short wait, my food arrived, and it was exactly as ordered. I would visit again.
