Upshot Coffee Cottleville

Amazing coffee place perfect for flow state fantastic local venue and amazing service and atmosphere. They have a quite section which makes for a great way to close off the world and they have a great patio are and fantastic food. We can’t stop raving about how awesome this local coffee venue is and give it the Alpha Omega local coffee winner of 2023.

I went today to meet up with a friend I had not seen in well over a year. The coffee was unbelievable! I had a caramel latte with oat milk and I don’t think I’ve EVER had such a well balanced flavor profile in a coffee before. I’m so sad that I don’t live nearby, this would be the coffee shop I’d go to EVERY DAY!

The food didn’t impress me though, I had the breakfast burrito and it was very complex. There were too many flavors going on inside it. After a few bites I liked it better, however it was only okay. Not amazing or anything noteworthy.

The atmosphere was very nice. I sat and talked with my friend for 3 hours at the counter and the staff was very nice. My friend got a special drink that she didn’t care for after trying, and they made her a new drink free of charge.

I’ll definitely have to come back!!

A great little town coffee shop with excellent coffee. Coffee “large” is a regular in other places, but the coffee is so good you don’t even care. Breakfast sandwiches are build your own style. Good atmosphere for a long chat over coffee.

So cute! Great gluten-free and dairy-free options. Deluxe Avocado toast was a hit!
Lattes are handcrafted, baristas are delightful. Super cute vibe and very clean.

This place is awesome. Great friendly people and always willing to make sure my drinks are right. The atmosphere is great and inviting. Keep.this place open don't sit for six hours and order just one drink! I love Upshot coffee!!!!!

We had my daughter’s graduation party at Upshot. They catered for us & we also had a barista for the event. From start to finish they were WONDERFUL! I am so thankful to have been able to throw such a great event for my grad! Thank you to alibi & team for an awesome night!

Another good experience. Very friendly service…attentive, listened, and kind.

Got the Guatemalan finca la Burbuja pour over - good flavor though the dark chocolate peppermint cookie overwhelmed the more subtle flavors.

Coffee was smooth (low bitterness) and while I wasn’t able to name the flavors (my fault, not the coffee’s) I could tell there were notes of differences with each drink.

Fun little place to get good dessert and boozy coffee drinks.

There’s outside and indoor seating with cozy environment.

Fire side seating outside and usually music playing.

Ordered the half-baked cookie with ice cream and it was delicious. Unfortunately it wasn’t half-naked though. It was rathe me well done but still had great flavor.

Upshot had a wonderful environment and friendly baristas. The coffee was very tasty and had a really rich flavor. And paying $4.50 for a monster cinnamon roll with a delicious flavor and perfectly airy dough was the steal of the century. If you're looking for a place with comfortable vibes and good drinks for studying or catching up with friends, Upshot is the place to go.

Super friendly staff. Amazing food but you do pay the bougie coffee shop price but it was worth every penny. Can't wait to visit again!

Deluxe Avocado Toast is my absolute favorite highly recommend if you love excellent flavors and love avocado toast!
It pairs perfectly with almost any coffee choice.
Also recommend the Pumpkin Spice Latte when in season. I highly recommend it even if you hate the psl from Starbucks. This will give you a new view on Pumpkin Spice Latte’s and you won’t regret it.
My only complaint is pricing on some food items but for me it’s well worth it.
I can typically spend $6-$22 with tip for food and drink (yes I know that’s a lot for one person but trust me you won’t be disappointed)

A fantastic cup of coffee! I had seasonal cappuccino and it was AMAZING! Great coffee, service and atmosphere. There's nothing better than a handmade cappuccino in a ceramic mug!!

Great shop featuring some delicious drinks. Welcoming atmosphere and super friendly staff.

Every time I go back it keeps getting better. I love to see how the shop is growing and progressing. I’m excited to see what they do next and can’t wait to stop in again soon.

Always a great time and amazing coffee! Also best chicken biscuit sandwich ever, the siracha honey is out of this word.

Great little quality coffee spot! Def worth a visit and staying for a cup coffee. The coffee art is worth the wait.

Tried something new... activated charcoal with oat milk coffee alternative and also had the kimchi everything bagel. The alternative coffee was great 👍. Great flavor, almost like cookies n cream and was layered with a nice foam on top.

The kimchi everything bagel had great flavor and was slightly spicy. Also amazing flavor. The creamcheese and kimchi flavor combo was way better than expected. Did not leave disappointed.

Side note, they have there own parking lot which is comped at the counter when you purchase via token. Made stopping in way easier instead of scrounging for parking in cottleville.

Nice coffee shop that also fresh presses juice. Comfortable and clean layout. Just selling limited pastry for now. Worth the stop for your coffe. Juices are a tad bit high but certainly the quality and taste are there.

Ordered the Mistletoe Latte and a regular Latte. Both were delicious!

Now this place is special.. The coffees and the vast amount of choices of coffee and food and truly all taste great. They also have juice drinks, smoothie style drinks and basic oatmeal straight black coffee or tea if that's what your interest in 👍.

Parking is a bit of a mission
Prices are $$$ but very well done food so very worth it for the area.
