Frontier Park

This place is so cool! I took my toddlers here and they had such a blast.
There's a beautiful shaded and paved walking trail, for bikes and walking.
All areas were clean and the playground was nice and shaded which was great for a 90 degree day.
We will definitely be back for another visit.

I was visiting my in-laws and we came to the park with my toddler. She loved the pirate ship, small slide, and swings. The big slide was broken and out of order, but the kids didn't mind. The other parents there were friendly - it was a nice environment! Definitely would come back when my family and I visit.

Nice park. Playground for smaller kids. Near a stream, with baseball field, and soccer field. Fountains were not on in April.

I set up outdoor concert series here at least 3 times a year, very pretty, olathe is a very friendly city.

Went to the Run For Paws 5k. Great trail to run/walk on and great for strollers as well

Really only used it to park and jog but the playground looks like my kiddo would like it.

This place has so much natural beauty and provides different levels of hiking depending on the trail you choose. I would certainly check it out if you are close. We found it because we had an extra hour before my son’s volleyball tournament started. We enjoyed our time and will go back next year.

Definitely a kid favorite, especially in the summer, there are plenty of shaded areas for parents. Park is well maintained and very clean. My only qualm would be that there's an older w/m who is frequently seen sitting under one of the shelters. He's there pretty much every time we go no matter the time, he's proven to be pretty harmless so far, but just a heads up, it's become pretty normal..

Great park, lots of things for kids about 10 and under to do, love the walking/biking/running trails that connect to the park as well!

In cooler weather than we've had of late, I like to spend my lunch break in a hammock between the shade of two perfectly-spaced chestnut trees. Frontier Park also offers a baseball diamond, playground for younger kids, and a shady (paved) walking trail. Additionally, there are portable toilets year-round, including one that is wheelchair accessible.

This is a very nice park. I have been several times to watch my grandson play baseball. His younger brother loves playing on the playground. They have 2 nice baseball fields any plenty of open space for kids to run and play games. I have meant to walk the trail but haven't taken the opportunity yet.

This park is a fantastic place for the entire family. Not only is there a two-part playground that is in the style of a ship, but one side is for the smaller children while the other is for the older ones and they are linked by a set of monkey bars! Additionally, there is an ample swing set with a side for small ones as well as for everyone. There is rubber for the flooring beneath the swings and a faux grass beneath the playground. There are multiple pavilions with a grill and trash can located nearby as well as a walking trail that is paved and a few that are not. Nearby, there is a soccer field. Overall, it is truly a fantastic experience every time we go. Do keep in mind that some of the people there are not wearing masks and social distancing is basically non-existent for the children of course.

I know they're getting old, but the sailing-ship playground equipment is always charming. There are trees that have been allowed to grow big over the long stretches of tedious, unused grass, so shade is nicer here than many other parks. And because this park is parked right against the trail system on Indian Creek, once you're into this park, you're avoid the dangerous car traffic that surrounds and edge-haunts most city and county parks.

Great place for kids to play at the park, and the trail is awesome!! Great for walking and riding. Clean bathrooms at each entrance to the trail as well. The trail is clean and well maintained.

Beautiful park and walking trails. It is not a dog park....but there needs to be signs posted to let people know not to let dogs off leash. We walk often and see cars pull up and let their dogs loose.

Fun park! They had a few tables which was great for a picnic.

The lawn is well kept. There are two pavilions; one is wheelchair accessible. The playground is good quality and safe with soft plastic "tiles" on the ground.
