Main Event Olathe

This place was great. I came here for a birthday party, and I have been here before. The atmosphere and activities are for people of all ages, and the place was very clean.
While I was here, I came down with a high fever and felt terrible. (Side note: this was due to personal reasons and not caused by anything I ate or touched at Main Event). The staff was so understanding and did their best to help me cool down and feel better. One server in particular was very kind. She took my temperature (which was soaring high) and got me water and an ice pack. I regret to say that I forgot her name - it must've been the fever. Her actions, however, will not be forgotten.
Highly, highly recommend going!

Main Event is a wonderful place to have a birthday party! My son’s friend had her party there and the kids had a great time bowling in their reserved lanes as the parents chatted and ordered food and drinks for themselves. Perfect setup - and the hostess for our group, Stormy, could not have been more wonderful or accommodating. She took care of everything!

After that, each kid at the party had a coupon for a free hour of game play. I have to give a shout out to Trey who made two 30 minute cards for myself and my son so we could play together a lot easier.

Overall, it’s a giant place with a ton to do, and they seem to run everything smoothly.

AND… THERE WERE NO ARCADE GAMES OUT OF ORDER! NONE!

Main Event is every child's dream. They have everything in the way of video games from laser fighting to skiing. Compared to the other arcades they have a lot of the newer, larger games. They also have some of the newer versions of old style games like skee Ball and basketball. In addition they have a ropes course, bowling and laser tag at eight George Washingtons a pop. The activities like the ropes course aren't available until after 3:00 p.m. they also have a restaurant with a wide variety of food. There are quite a few pool tables, shuffleboard, and a large conference room attached to the building. There is ample parking, as well. On an average visit with two kids you can expect to spend around $85 for a full card of games that should last an hour or two.

If you're an adult, just brace yourself because with all the activities and volume it's really loud. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon to chill out and let your kids play this is probably not the place. In terms of cleanliness it seems like they're on top of it. However with as many things as kids are touching it's likely a breeding ground regardless. There's definitely a lot to see and do here so if you have your wallet you and your kids will not be bored.

Some of these reviews are pretty harsh. The food was pretty good considering it’s a bowling alley and arcade. Same level as any bar food, if not better. Nick took great care of us!

Can’t speak to other dishes but the kids’ pizza and spinach dip were good.

Overall it’s a cool place, comparable to Dave and Busters + large bowling alley and suspended walkway with harnesses for the adventurous types. Would recommend if this is your kind of place!

Super helpful staff (I would have so much less patience than they do), a great selection of video games, and you can get an unlimited pass, to play as much laser tag as you want! The pass also includes bowling, billiards, and the “gravity ropes” (a lot more scary fun than I anticipated) section where you’re walking on ropes and balance beams up 15’ above the arcade.

Awesome place, awesome people. I didn’t get a chance to try the food and cocktails, but this would be a perfect place to bring the whoooole crew for a party. Probably a little noisy and intense for old folks, but that’s why they’ve got a bar, right?

I went here to take my brother bowling. The staff was kind and informative. There are a lot of activities to pick from which is exciting! We got a summer pass for bowling and have enjoyed it a lot!

We were a large group of people who came here together and the place was very entertaining. It's a combination of arcade, bowling, pool game and the sky rail. Everything was entertaining enough alone. All of us literally freaked out doing the sky rail but it was so awesome and I'd definitely do it again and feel the same fear again 😂
The food and the bowling was also very good. We kept playing for very long and the staff was very accommodating but the only thing I'd say is that, I wish there were more staff there as it would create better accommodation if the customers want something. And the arcade shouldn't be left untouched. Overall, all of us enjoyed a lot!!!
And it snowed on our way out which was gorgeous as hell too!!!!

Great place for a party! We had our 9 year olds party here with his friends and they had a blast. The kids 🎳 bowled, zip lined and played laser tag before games. Our youngest wasn't tall enough for the zip line so they gave him a rainbow card for unlimited games while the older kids walked on the gravity ropes. We had no idea someone would be with us the entire time, but they do out if their way to make sure you have everything needed. Chris was amazing and great with the kids. We also paid extra do the kids gass their own private laser tag session so we didn't have random people playing. Food was great too.

Went here for a group event and had a blast. The pizza buffet and salads were great. Excellent service. The manager really made our time there great. All the servers were attending to our table and we were taken care of. Thank you!!

Appeared as Santa 🎅🏻 & Mrs. Claus 🤶 at corporate/ House event. Excellent venue and Staff was more than accommodating!

Always a great time. Something to do for everyone here. It does get busy at the peak times but the staff manages it pretty well. Always some disrespectful kids running around. Plenty of arcade games, bowling is fun.

LINDSAY is where you order pizza she was so patient kind and gracious she went outta her way to make sure I had what I needed for a young person she was very respectful and attentive she was simply AWESOME 👌 and one of the guys with the dark spikes hair really cute over at the order desk helped us took our pics he was also going above and beyond AWESOME STAFF !

Wonderful place for the family. 4 of us played games for 3 hours on $112! The food is really good too! I love the Photo Booth they have that accepts points from your card! We had so much fun! We threw my sons 5th birthday there & have been there a few other times. The kids just love it!

This is a very cool place! Lots of colors and bright lights as this place is truly an entertainment center. I had attended a company meeting here yesterday. They have two party rooms in which they had provided breakfast and lunch buffet style and all of it was fresh. They were very accomidating and polite contuning to ask us if we needed anything and if everything was okay. There was some technical difficulties with some of the monitors they had in the party rooms. However they were very helpful in getting the technology up an running again. This place is pretty neat as they have an arcade section, a lazer tag place, a restaraunt, a bar, and pool table, and a bowling alley. The bathrooms in this entertainment center are very clean and neat. Thier prices are steep in some areas, however they do have deals that you can utilize. If you have some extra money take the family out and have fun. I believe you will enjoy it.

Wow! We were greeted by Trey (I think). He set us up on bowling lanes and I let him know we were celebrating my son who is asd and my husband's birthdays. I usually mention my son is ASD because I have been made to feel the need to explain why we may have a harder time with rules or sitting still. Trey smiled so big and told me about his past experience working with kids on the spectrum in school. He portrayed excitement that we were joining them for our celebration. We did not book a birthday party package because I couldn't find one that suited out group who were all coming at different times but Trey and the lane manager went above and beyond in every way to make it feel like we did. We paid for our lane and from there it just kept getting more fabulous. Every server, manager, attendant, and cashier treated us like royalty. I used to supervise for Disneyland and I would have sworn that's where we were tonight. I have booked the party packages at similar venues and have not been treated anywhere near as magically as Trey and his teammates treated my family tonight. THANK YOU from a Mom who second guesses planning a party outside our home every year because I hate when someone eventually treats us like a nuisance (something Main Event never did). Thank you for my son who deserved to feel welcome and felt so much more than that on his 5th birthday. Thank you for my husband who did his favorite thing (bowl) with his son for the first time tonight and has not smiled like this in years. Thank you.

We had a blast came here for a friend's birthday party ended up staying like 8 hours spent hundreds of dollars had a few drinks had a lot of laughs played a lot of games we even went bowling you couldn't ask for a better time so gather your friends and bring them out you'll enjoy yourself just like we did

Wonderful place for kids 8 to 18 , lots to do , bowling, virtual realistic games, in the sky obstical corse give it an A + , pool tables, Lazer tag , and much more. 😀 and fun in all faces . And for those who just want a cup of coffee while kids play they have that too. Two restaurants to pick from, the only thing I saw that was a draw back was there's a bar right in the center as you wLk in that's very visible to everyone including the kids.

Definitely family friendly. I love how everything is open and spacious enough to have a view from a far to keep an eye out for your kids while having "adult time" at the bar. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. I like that the staff was constantly sanitizing surfaces respectfully around us. Highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere! Something for everyone. All the kids had so much and never got bored. The lazer tag is so fun. Bowling alleys are super nice. Love the climbing area up top really neat. So many arcade games.
