Tea Garden

Food is always good, always fresh. My husband ordered the Black pepper beef & shrimp and a cup of miso soup. He was not a big fan of the miso (it was "bland" to him). He loved the Beef and Shrimp, ate every bite in one sitting which rarely happens. I always get the sweet and sour chicken. Most places tend to overcook the chicken leaving it dry and chewy but The Tea Garden seems to have the timing down with the chicken, peppers, carrots and pineapple. The chicken still has the texture of chicken and the veggies and pineapple still have that little crunch I love. We also ordered the jalapeno poppers for the first time... The cream cheese filling was a little sweeter than I expected but it worked. These are not deep fried. They are a half jalapeno pepper stuffed with their cream cheese mixture, topped with a crumb topping and I assume baked. The peppers themselves were done just right. Thought about 4 stars for service because they did forget one of our orders of fried rice but my husband said they were really busy and appeared shorthanded...it happens. If it happens again then I might update. As of today, I would definitely recommend.

Great food & fast service. I only picked up from here and taken back to my hotel. Usually ready in 15 min unless they're busy. Then, maybe it's 20 min at the most.

I have seen the restaurant and it's nice. One of these days, I'll eat in but for now I'll give it high marks because it looks nice.

Wonderful food, excellent boba teas, and amazing service. I’ve come here regularly and have tried a lot of the dishes and all the food has been excellent! The beef with broccoli and the garlic pork are some of my favorites! The staff is welcoming and friendly and they are routinely adding more to their menu.

Great service for lunch. Fresh, crunchy chicken for their General. A unique yet strong flavor in their fried rice. Solid selection of gluten free options. Will be back for more food.

I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, but this is by far my favorite! Their prices are reasonable and portion sizes are excellent. Management is friendly and accommodating to the customer needs. I always enjoy going in to eat or carry out food. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is light and welcoming. 10 out of 10 recommend if you’re looking for amazing food!

Absolutely wonderful food! Beautifully packaged and extremely friendly, fast, and efficient service!! Most definitely was worth every cent. I have never been to an Asian take-out style restaurant that delivered on everything to the very tea. I noticed the waitress/check out lady was hurrying from table to table and working extremely hard to make sure their customers were pleased and attended to. They deserve more than 5 stars. Thank you for the fantastic experience!

If you want some reliably delicious inexpensive Asian food, this is the place to eat. I 100% recommend the jalapeño chicken. It's my favorite dish, and if you like to challenge yourself with spice it'll give you a run for your money!! Also they just started making Ramen and it's very good, so stop on by and have a bowl.

The customer service was amazing! We brought our toddler with us knowing that he more than likely wouldn't eat anything. My husband jokingly asked our server if they had chicken nuggets when he took our order, he said they didn't and we all laughed. The woman in the back, whose name we didn't catch, made my son chicken nuggets from scratch! He loved them! Before we left they told us they may add them to the menu for other picky eaters. On top of the service the food was very good, we will definitely be returning!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and every time it’s an absolutely wonderful experience! Everyone is so friendly and sweet, the food is delicious and the environment is relaxing! Would always recommend!

I’ve tried alot of Chinese restaurants around the area and this one is easily my favorite. They have great customer service, quality food and are very nice! On top of that their restaurant is very clean.

The food is always amazing. Great service and the best fruity boba. The staff is always friendly when we come it. Never had a dish we didn't like. Would recommend as a place to eat if visiting Olathe.

Got the chicken pan fried noodles, an egg drop soup and a side of fried rice.

Noodles and rice were very tasty and I was extremely pleased with the variety and amount of veggies. Decent portions and good ingredient ratio. Fried rice was golden and crispy. Egg drop soup had a funny taste, so I wouldn't reccomend it unfortunately

My wife and I first discovered Tea Garden during the great covid-19 pandemic. This little restaurant had closed it's diving room and followed every protocol to keep their (minimal) staff and customers date during the crisis.

The got through it all while continually pushing out great food.

Today they are business as usual and a typical dinner crowd will be patrons like myself who have become loyal to a great little restraint that didn't give up.

They offer great food and prices to match. My personal favorite is the chicken egg-fu-young (with the tan gravy, not the dark gravy) 😉

If you are reading this to decide if you should try Tea Garden, then yes. You should. It's great.

Everything we ordered was delicious! The egg drop soup and the honey walnut chicken were perfect. The crispy garden beef was amazing!

Great fresh food, friendly staff. Very good crab rangoons. General Tso’s chicken AND general Tso’s pork was delicious. Chicken fried rice was great with a good depth of flavor.

Oh my goodness…the food is just amazing! Delicious food at great prices. Best Moo Shu Chicken that I’ve had in the Kansas City metro. Come here…you won’t regret it!! Five stars!!!
