Tru by Hilton Wichita Northeast

The hotel and staff were great! The room we got was perfect. We had the handicap accessible with roll-in shower room. It had 2 queen beds in it and there was a ton of room in the room. I could not have asked for anything better. The location was not bad. The hotel was about 10 minutes from restaurants and stores. There are a good amount of restaurants right by the hotel. This hotel is a great choice for a room to stay at. Will be back next time we are back in Wichita.

The front desk attendant got me fresh hot water for my tea when I checked in. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice, very hot shower with strong water pressure on the first floor. I was logged off wifi every time I put my phone down but worked well when I was connected. No fresh fruit at breakfast but it was available ahead of the schedule and coffee was good. I don’t recommend a room near the security door at the end of the hallway because it is loud when it slams shut.

We love staying at Tru by Hilton when we travel and this was no exception. We went up to visit my daughter in college and this was our first time staying at this one. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and we always love the murals in the lobby of each one that gives a little story of the area. My daughter and her roommates came over and we played pool and games in the recreational area and really enjoyed it. We also love the automatic pancake machine at breakfast.

First time staying here. The rooms were clean, and everyone attending to the hotel was very welcoming and accommodating. Easy access to the freeways as well.

Compared to several of the other hotels in the area...Tru Hilton was incredible. Very clean, like new accommodations, and very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was very good...hot, with plenty of food readily available. Pet friendly (for a fee) but overall...excellent customer service, cleanliness, and comfortable accommodations.

This appears to be a new hotel. Everyone was friendly and the room was large and clean. They have a pancake maker for breakfast, which I love. There is a pool table and lots of seating in the gathering area.

Loved the rooms really nice really high ceiling, nice gaming area in the lobby, nice breakfast and definitely really service. The staff is so respectful, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend this place for everyone business or pleasure, family with kids or just get away, perfect for all occasions.

I come to Wichita once a month for work and I was staying at the Double Tree on the Airport ground but the staff wasn’t friendly and the rooms weren’t that clean. The rooms also didn’t smell good.
So I started staying at Tru and this is my 3rd time here. The staff has always been welcoming and kind. The hallways always smell good and my rooms is always clean, neat and smells good. Someone name Crystal cleaned my room the last time and she did a great job! This is where I stay now going forward, it’s less expensive then Double Tree and better quality in my opinion.

The hotel is nice. Park in front of the hotel there are no cameras on the side and my truck had the wendows smashed out and everything stolen out of it.

hotel is walking distance to chicken'n'pickle, rooms are smaller and a bit pricey for a smaller style room, but it's very up to date. The lobby has a ton of games to play and a pool table for socializing. No one was using it when I visited. Could be fun for a traveling family to visit.

Great place to stay! No fuss hotel. Rooms are not cleaned everyday unless you ask. I think that is how they keep the price down. Breakfast was great. They had this unique machine that made pancakes with literally a wave of the hand. They had a different egg everyday along with a different meat. English muffins and bagels were also there. We will use them again.

Great place! Staff is friendly, amenities are ample, and its a nice modern hotel. A little out of the city, but it has its appeal.

I was out in Wichita scouting homes for a job move, and the staff mentioned a bunch of local places to check out, and mentioned good neighborhoods.

We had a great experience here. The rooms were modern and very practical. There was no closet or tub, which we never use while there were a lot of outlets, which are often lacking in hotels. The shower was new and open and I liked the dispensers for soaps and shampoo, which felt less wasteful. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The lobby is a great place to hang out with others and there are many games available. The breakfast had less options due to COVID restrictions, but I was happy to still have breakfast available and in separate serving containers for sanitation. We will be back if in the area.

Only stayed for one night and it was great. Front desk was nice, breakfast was good (loved the pancake machine), clean and comfy rooms, and I loved the decor of the lobby. Very colorful and bright, makes it welcoming.

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and check in and out were very simple. I was happy they were still offering a limited breakfast. The room was modern but had everything we needed. We live the extra outlets and hooks. No need for a tub or closet! Love the practical spaces and the lobby has great areas to hang out and games.

This was a nice, clean hotel with a great breakfast bar and fun games. Love the outside fire pit for conversations and relaxing. The adults - as always - worked from the Zoom Nooks. They are the best place to hook in and knock out work on the road! Diamond parking is a nice perk, as well as waters for the road. Adore Tru!

Clean, vaulted ceiling’s, up to date modern rooms including electric blinds, close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was ok. If they had biscuits and gravy on the menu and a bigger workout room I would never stay at another hotel, period!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue that we had was that we had no towels in our room, which was explained to us as being due to a short staff situation. The front desk employees (yes, multiple!) that I talked to about this were both very polite and helpful. The first one was the night staff, who told me that there were none available, but they would be in the morning. I then talked to the morning guy, who delivered them directly to our room. A great resolution to an unusual situation. Thanks!

From the moment you walk in till the moment you check out, you're in a child friendly environment, enjoyable, whether you're 2 or 90. Clean, modernist styling with an open design conductive to free movement. The tight reins of the trip can be loosened for a moment.
