The Waffle Window

Everytime I make my way into Portland, a visit to Waffle Window is a must. I have tried pretty much everything they have to offer by now, and I must say, every time I was blown away. Best waffles in Portland!

Great selection of both savory and sweet waffles. I got the vegetarian Farm Fusion waffle which was delicious and just the right balance between heavy and light to get the day started and my wife had the Banana Nutella waffle which was excellent with ripe and sweet bananas. We were able to eat inside which was great because it was a little drizzly that morning. Awesome place for a casual breakfast.

It's a self-service dining. You order the food at the line, pay & pick up the food afterwards & eat at the table. We left a tip for the dirty dishes.

Amazing chicken and waffles! So filling and reasonably priced. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

Easy to order online and pick up at the window or order in person and and wait. There are some covered picnic tables to eat there. Fav item is the waffle with sausage, cheddar, and gravy.

Everyone there is amazing and makes me feel so welcomed! I would 100% recommend getting the “Rise and Shine” with gravy from their Savory category. My all time favorite place to go to with my friends!

Weather was too cold and wet, so orders were taken inside the Bread & Ink Cafe restaurant 😋 *Darkest Desire* 🍫 Chocolate Shell & Strawberry *Cheesecake* 🍓 waffles (pictured). DELICIOUS (though rich!) and calm seating atmosphere. Perfect idea for a date after a movie at the Bagdad. Out of the cold, enjoying a sweet treat. Liege waffles are amazing- sweet or savory ones.

Such a delicious treat, like literally soooo good. The blueberry cheesecake waffle was like, the best thing I’ve eaten in months. Every single bite was better than the last. The flavors blended very well together, the waffle itself was great, the whipped cream on top was absolutely divine. Like, I felt as though I was eating a work of art but, as they say, you can’t have your cake and eat it. Wish I’d tried this place sooner because it was absolutely godly. The banana Nutella waffle was also a fantastic dish.

I have been craving a good waffle for weeks now. My hubby, friends, and I took a trip to The Waffle Window yesterday. I was impressed! Pictured is the strawberry cheesecake waffle that I ordered. Oh my lawd, was it delicious! The cheesecake pudding had such a deep cheesecake flavor. It was piled with fresh strawberries, lots of whipped cream, and enough graham cracker crumble for each bite. The waffle was thick, fluffy, and didn't get mushy as I ate. Sheer perfection!

Delicious! Never disappoints! Took my sister, nephew and sons to pick up lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to shop while waiting for our order. Everyone was so pleased. We ordered a Nutella Banana waffle, a Strawberry and Lemon Curd waffle, 3 chocolate strawberry waffles, can’t remember what my two sons ordered from the savory menu but there wasn’t a crumb left.

Consistency is the name of this place. Im from the east coast and every time I visit Portland I HAVE to go to Waffle Window. Definitely a must visit when in town. They hands-down have the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had and you honestly can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu! Oh.. I can I also brag about their gravy!? Its amazing!!!

I ordered the strawberry cheesecake waffle perit. I found this place in an article online of places to eat off I 5. It did not disappoint. I will probably be coming back on my way back through.🤤💯

It was really amazingly delicious but super busy and crowded. But totally worth going. I didn't know there were so many different kinds of waffles. And if you go with someone, like I did, you can have them wait in line for an hour and you can go wander around and go to all the neat stores surrounding the waffle window. Which, btw, really is an actual window. And they have a covered area with picnic tables so you don't necessarily have to get it to-go.

This place is absolutely delicious. Not exactly expensive, but I think it's worth it. Really delicious waffles with a dense, sweet texture. We were very lucky in that the weather was with us that morning so that we could sit at their sidewalk tables. Next time we are in town, I'm sure we'll be back.

A truly delightful Portland waffle experience with a great variety of savory and sweet waffles. The darkest desire waffle is a must-have for someone with a sweet tooth. The mixture of salt and sweet with the salted caramel ice cream, dark shell, and lava salt with the waffle and whipped cream delivers an unforgettable taste. The blueberry lemonade is also wonderful, but do keep in mind that it may cause a big rush to use the restroom within an hour of consuming!

As always the seasonal waffle dish - huckleberry - was fantastic in concept and execution.

The biggest change since my last visit here is the relocation of the ordering window to the Bread and Ink restaurant. This seems to cause a lot of confusion because the old menus are still on the wall near the window. Don't wait for someone to come to the window! Gotta go inside to order.

Don't let the look fool you, the breakfast here is great. We got two waffles, the bananarumba and a 3B's. We also got a side of breakfast potatoes and bacon/eggs. Everything was outstanding, and the price was great. The breakfast potatoes were very well seasoned and probably the best we've had anywhere. Give the flavored lemonades a try too.

Fantastic for dessert. Got the darkest desire and strawberries at midnight. We even made a change to the order and they were super accommodating. Will definitely go back but one big change is needed. They serve everything with a fork! We need spoons for all the deliciousness!!!

I took my mom here for a brunch when she was visiting and she really really love it. The waffles were yummy. The service was great. However, it was pretty hard to find a parking spot.
