The nicest Freddy's in town!! Employees are pleasant and helpful, security isn't aggressive about receipt checks, and the deli section is clean and organized. Very appetizing! 👍👍

Fred Meyer has always been convenient, a One-Stop shop as promised by good ol fred. I think he'd be proud. However, the Fred Meyer at interstate and especially Broadway ,having extremely rude! EMPOYEES. Whatever happened to being pleasant to your customers? POLITENESS . NOT! shoving them out the door at closing. And NOT! Making them feel un- important or a bother...Because it is however.. ,how you! make YOUR money. THE PUBLIC. Let's not forget shall we!. Whatever the issue the customer brings in front of you, no matter how rude they are to you ,you are to be pleasant, helpfully and make them feel important and that they're always right. And if you cannot resolve the issue, escalate it appropriately, to the next level. Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Coming from Michigan where we have Kroger, Fred Meyer was the place to shop! Great selection of all kinds of foods, things and brands. Huge store. Very clean and friendly staff. Had someone ask me if I needed help finding anything. Very great prices! Enjoyable experience. Big store but sections are well labeled. Easy to find what you need.

As of November 2023, evetime I walk in I am greeted by cops and security. When I walk in and out, I feel as If I am going through TSA. Other than that, It's not the worst place to shop.

The head pharmacist answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I can see they really care about me.

I even got the app to work so I could get a bargain on 6 packs of Mtn Dew and Pepsi. $2.99 vs 5.49 on sale

Most of the employees are top notch at the Hawthorne Fred Meyers. They are far nicer, more helpful, and sincere than the employees at the Glisan Fred Meyers. Parking can be a real bear but there is an upper level which can provide relief. They only have an elevator to get your cart between floors. The only downside I would say, and this rings true for all Fred Meyers I have shopped at, the service deli (where you get lunch meat from) is slow but again, this is what I've experienced it every Fred Meyers. They are far superior to any QFC I have ever shopped at though.

So big! Very impressed with everything that is offered here. Had the sushi on the conveyor belt and was tasty for the price.

This is by far my favorite Freddy’s. They’re always almost fully stocked, the store is super clean, the employees I’ve came across are all very nice, and the deli is the best out of any other location. The boars head deli sandwiches in the morning are AMAZING, i had “the patriot” which was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I do Instacart and i always pick up deliveries for this location because i know i can depend on them to have most of not all the items on the list, and i can get in and out quickly because it’s so nicely organized. Also, very clean bathrooms 👍🏾 only problem I’ve ever had heee was with some rude man in the parking lot that tried confronting me for pulling in the wrong way- not sure if he was a customer or employee going on shift but i didn’t let it ruin my day.

I always get great service at this Fred Meyer. John in home electronics is fantastic. When I am looking for something specific, he always goes the extra mile to make sure and see if they have it he deserves accolades for his excellent customer service.

Melissa in the pharmacy is A1 5 *'s! When Walgreens or Safeway couldn't figure out a prescription and totally messed everything thing up she so saved the day! She went totally out side the box and got everything done otherwise not possible by a lot of other people. And what a beautiful person! She has an awesome heart and is very compassionate! Fred Meyer are you hearing this?! She is a total diamond that should be recognized for herself as well as her capabilities in her position. Even when there at there rush time she always has a smile and will stop to say hi even if she's just passing by. Her personal touch is something that isn't seen unfortunately a lot these days. I go out of my way just to come in this pharmacy because of her and the team that work together to take care of their customers. Thank you all in the pharmacy and Rock Star Melissa! Thank you all for showing up and caring so much!

This Fred Meyer has been my "go to" grocery store for years. And for good reason. I can't think of another store in town that offers better customer service.

The staff are personable, professional, and welcoming. I feel like a "regular" -- rather than just a "customer" -- every time I shop here. Plus, the selection is great, the meat counter is one of the best I've ever visited, and the sushi bar is excellent as well.

Yes Fred Meyer is making money, We would LOVE to hire more cashiers, unfortunately ppl are not applying for jobs….and the ones that do get hired on call in sick to work all the time. This is why you all have to wait in such long lines. Really it’s not like we enjoy making you all wait, so no we cannot just produce ppl on command to help you, as much as we wish we could. Also self checkout is not taking our jobs away from us. If anything it’s created more jobs and gotten ppl out the door much faster. Thanks to all my regular customers & customers I’ve yet to meet for keeping it enjoyable, we appreciate you guys. To the others who only want to yell at us….save it please.

First shopped here in 1963 when I lived across from Laurelhurst Park, with my parents. Now back in the neighborhood after 50 years - the store has certainly changed. Yet, I really enjoy shopping here. As for General Merchandise, they carry a small selection of just about everything. They recently revamped the Store, moving Household Goods to the Upper Level. This caused a decrease in the amount of products carried in the Home Electronics Department, and Household Goods. MUCH better selection BEFORE the revamp. Grocery side is just fine, with a wide selection and many Organic choices. Good Meat Dept and a wide selection of Produce, including Organic. Sometimes sell Produce beyond its edible date. Need to keep the Paper Bags WITH handles. In our 'hood many walk, take the bus, and/or live on an upper level of an apartment building. It's very difficult to carry a large bag minus the handles!

Employees and security personnel produce an excellent friendly atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable.

I am very pleased with the selection of produce, quality foods, ready-made foods, beer, and wine at this location. The employees are generally helpful and friendly, and the store is bright and clean. Parking was interesting, but we parked upstairs and subsequently checked out upstairs with no wait. The elevator seemed fast enough for our purposes.
