I work at this Plad Pantry 5 nights a week. Only 2 students are allowed in at a time because of theft. Teenagers have been the biggest shoplifters in are store. Our sign is very clear that it is high school and younger students. It does not say a mother is to leave her children in the car even babies. I know when the person was in the store and had an issue with this sign it was clearly explained to him why only 2 students were allowed in at a time. My second night training at this store 4 teenage boys came in and stole over $300 worth of food products. Every small mini mart whether it's a chain or a mom and pop store has the same policy as we do. When we have products stoled the company has to make up that money somehow. That leads to higher prices for people that want to purchase their items. If you've noticed most of the Plaid pantries within a mile of this location are not open at night. They don't open till 6:00 a.m. and that is because of theft We have a lot of great repeat customers that come in including teenagers. We are not discriminating against age. And too the person that was complaining he wasn't able to buy his rose wine after 2:30 it is an Oregon law that no alcohol is to be sold between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Time capsule. Crowded shelves and narrow aisles. This location really needs a make-over. The merchandise is relatively varied, but there never seems to be a large number any particular item. The early morning coffee is a big draw here.

The employees are less than friendly. To be more specific, an older caucasian lady who works mid-day.

Staff is always very nice, but wow. This location has set them selves up for a very easy law suit. Age discrimination only shows the owners lack of ability. They will not let more then two people under the age of 18 in at one time. Meaning if you have 3 little kids, you have to leave them in your hot car or in the streets. Also, better not let a baby in when two kids are shopping because now your being even more discriminating. Surprised someone didn’t think this through

Tonight. The guy at the register wouldn’t sell me a can of rosé because it was after 2:30am? On the basis that it was 2:30 and store policy??? No where in Portland let alone Oregon have I run into this policy. Can someone please help this person? Left all the other things at the counter that I was going to purchase. Walked away empty handed. In an economy such as this. How is this even remotely a business model? What a tool.

Horrible customer service. I buy Uplift Kombucha by the case. I dress professionally. I was followed around as if I was going to steal the merchandise. Rude staff.

Old man wouldn't sell me a 6 pack because he didn't like the way I look. He was definitely discriminating against me, I hadn't had anything all night. He was also being very creepy to some girls that were in the store and taking pictures when they weren't looking. Someone should look into this guy I bet he has some weird stuff on his computer.

Crazy toothless woman (Katherine) tried to ID my kids, and wouldn't let me buy a beer because my kids were in the car!!! And then she told me to go to the plaid pantry down the street and have my kids hide in the back seat! Wtf?!?! Worst human ever!!

Picked up sandwich for the kid for his lunch, he opened it and it was already molding 3 hours later. Never thought I would have to inspect the food that much buying it for same day.

Can't Bring in a BIKE????

I went to this Plaid Pantry this morning on my way to work, around 3:30AM and the clerk refused to let me in with my bike. Since when is this a plaid pantry rule? I shop here all the time and simply wanted a redbull, guess times are so good for plaid they can afford to turn away customers. MUST BE NICE!
