Charlie's Main Street Cafe

Was in town visiting family and stopped here for some breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The caramel role was extremely delicious and the rye bread I was served was so good I saved some to eat later. I’m not in the area, but I would eat here again if I returned.

The delicious breakfast sandwich I got here was a welcome break from Amtrak food during our rest stop on New Years Eve. I was easily able to place an order through phone and text just minutes in advance and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Speed-walking there and back from the train stop took about 20 minutes and we had plenty of time to spare! I highly recommend supporting this local business if you have the chance 😊

What a great place!! Food was delicious. The young lady working the front was incredibly nice, and all the staff were super attentive. We both had the sausage biscuits and gravy, one with scrambled eggs and the other with over-easy. And of course we had to try their famous carmel roll (recommended by our server)!! Sooooooooo good! Just one bit of advice, go when your starving. The servings are HUGE!! 😆 We ended up taking food home. We highly recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times when I’ve passed through Minot. Best Breakfast In Minot is no exaggeration. I love the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs. Great service, great old fashioned cafe, reasonable prices and good portions. I always order caramel rolls to go. YUMMY!

We came here last time we were in Minot. We made sure to come back. Both of us had chicken fried steak and were beyond happy with our choices. Even their simple cup of coffee was delicious. Coffee is what it is, but when it's really good, bonus. We will definitely be back next time we visit Minot.

So I am on Amtrak and sick of eating their food. We had a 30 minute stop so I called 15 minutes ahead. Tiffany took the order and had everything waiting. 7 min walk there and made it back in plenty of time. Great atmosphere and great service.

Charlie's is an amazing small town cafe. Myself and my wife have become regulars here, typically for breakfast but lunch a time or two as well. Staff is beyond friendly and unlike most other restaurants in town, the staff here genuinely seems like they want to be at their job. And that alone makes for a very pleasant dining experience. I would recommend Charlie's to anyone looking for a good place to eat.****hands down, no doubt the BEST patty melt I've had anywhere I've ever been, absolutely amazing.

Go! We went this morning and the best caramel cinnamon roll I have ever had! Sweet, soft and just the right amount of caramel so it didn't overpower the cinnamon. Great service and a great breakfast too!

Been frequently visiting Charlie’s for awhile now. The food is excellent the staff is great! Best breakfast spot in town and it’s not even close! Make sure you get in early to get a caramel roll! 😄

We where recommended Charlie’s from our server last night at dinner. He did not disappoint one bit. Amazing food but the service is top notch.

I asked Google for the best breakfast places in town. I chose this pace based on location and the photos. I have to tell you my omelet was amazing.. had it made with egg whites it was not too greasy at all.. it was perfect. And the dark rye bread my favorite. when asked to switch my cheese from swiss to pepper jack made it even better. Hit this place people. You won't be disappointed!

Pretty good little diner. Everyone is real friendly. The coffee is great and so are the beer battered fries. I love that there is a cookie shop right next door

Charlie's is absolutely the best place to eat in Minot. The egg salad sandwich on a croissant is made fresh to order and was a big hit with our family. The caramel rolls are excellent also. We came from Milwaukee, WI to visit our son at the Air Force base and to meet Tiffany (owner) and her family that our son became friends with. When in town, stop by Charlie's get some good food and meet the owners

Nearby Amtrak train stop and this place was a quick walk up the hill to Main Street. She had my food out in less than ten minutes then I walked back to the train. Thanks to Google for this great suggestion. The food was fast and delicious!

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a restaurant. Without a doubt Charlie's had the best bacon 🥓 in a restaurant. The owner was great, and created a home like ambiance. The prices are more than reasonable. The coffee was good too.

If you want delicious breakfast.. go to Charlie's!!! Best place in Minot for breakfast... and the caramel roll is the best!!!

The owner Tiffany has outdone herself with this place, of course her crew was amazing as well. The food was outstanding and 10/10 recommend Charlie's to anyone coming to Minot!!

Traveling here from NC. Highly recommend fellow travelers visit this diner. Charlie’s is delicious! The caramel roll was a warm, tasty roll of awesomeness which pairs perfectly with coffee. Omelets and pancakes were equally delicious! Also enjoyed reading the news clippings detailing Charlie’s history.

Don’t forget to save room for a caramel roll they are the best in town!
