I had Carrie as a stylist and she was awesome! This was my first time at a curly hair specialist and was really nervous about getting my hair cut, but she did great and I learned a lot more than I was expecting while talking with her. I've got another appointment scheduled already and can't wait to go back!

Carrie at the ChopShop is a curl specialist. If you have naturally curly hair and have been getting a straight hair cut, you need to give a curl by curl (a.k.a Deva cut) cut a go. Carrie is able to give my curls the bounce they loose when they get too grown out. She’s also in the know about product and which ones are “safe” for curlies.

Been going here for years and Jess is amazing! As someone who struggles with dermatitis on my scalp she is always kind and I always leave feeling confident! Jess and Morgan are both very talented! Highly recommend 😊

10/10 . I always have a great experience with Justin. Justin is very talented and very nice. I always get so many compliments after seeing him. Scheduling is easy and the salon is clean. My hair feels amazing and I feel amazing.

Always a great experience at Fitz Barbershop at Chop Shop East. Got a nice clean fresh clipper cut that I love! They are being safe with required masks, hand sanitizer, and distancing.

Reilly has been doing my hair for about a year now and has totally transformed my hair while keeping it healthy. I could not recommend her more. Absolutely love and adore her as a person too, she’s such a gem and so considerate of what you want while also making sure you have realistic expectations about look and price point. Fitz is the best! She did my hair like she can read minds! Not that she can mind you! Amazing cut, worth every penny! I'm super happy! And the shop is clean and comfortable and safe. COVID protections in place really eased my mind going there. Oh and the website is easy to use too!

Helen did an AMAZING job on my hair. My hair is below the shoulders, thick and has a variety of type of waves and texture. The shape of my hair is on point (no heaviness, no weird things poking out, no triangle) and the waves/loose curls have never looked better. And yes, it looked good when I did it myself with 0 skill and 2 minutes of time. I asked her how she made my hair look like this, she said "magic". That was modest -- it was all skill. She is definitely worth the wait to get in as a new client.

RJ is INCREDIBLE!!! They are so talented at cutting and coloring. They made me feel so welcome and taken care of every appointment. The experience was immaculate and the talent is undeniable.

Fast service on short notice with extremely welcoming and friendly staff. The interior is also a small cozy space. Will definitely be going here again when a haircuts needed again.

I go here to get my hair cut and colored. Love my stylist Carrie. She does great color. She's a curly hair specialist. And I am one of her few straight hair clients. But I wouldn't go to anyone else. She has never steered me wrong.

I absolutely LOVE Reilly Thompson at Chop Shop! She is professional, sweet, absolutely adorable and best of all? Incredible at her job! She knows exactly how to handle my hair and gets what I'm talking about even when I don't. I've gone to her for YEARS and she is always on point. I highly recommend her to everyone who wants a color change, highlights, vivids, a balayage, a good haircut, or EXTENSIONS. The best in STL!

I got in with Erin and she cut my curly hair PERFECTLY. She listened to exactly what I wanted, made it happen, and I learned so much more about properly caring for my curls. She also cut my sister's curly hair (we are both white) and my (mixed) niece's hair. She knows her stuff and I am excited to go back.

I love this salon! I see Draven; she is very polite and sociable, but won't force a conversation if your just enjoying yourself. She cuts my hair and waxes my brows. She also does a scalp and shoulder massage with essential oils, it is a great way to relax. The pictures are taken the day after my hair cut.

Fitz at Chop Shop East is talented, professional, friendly, and so inclusive and amazing. Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely LOVE Reilly(rj_chops on instagram)!!!! She is such a pleasure to visit, has me laughing the whole time, has the cutest little studio, is safe regarding COVID procedures, and is extremely talented and knowledgable when it comes to hair. She has cut and colored my hair twice, and she is the only person I will go to from now on for any type of hair service. Reilly also is certified in invisible bead extensions, and I can't wait to go and get some rows in. Truly a gem!
