Motel 6 Hannibal, MO

We booked a room here because it was the cheapest in the area with a pool for my kids to swim. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted that the pool was closed. The young lady at the front desk recommended a nearby hotel with a pool and was able to cancel our reservation without any trouble. While we didn't actually stay here, I give it 5 stars for the customer service alone.

This was a very clean and pleasant place to stay on our recent trip to visit Hannibal, Missouri. The beds were comfortable and had clean sheets, blankets and bedspreads. The bathroom was immaculately clean and stocked. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the rooms were indoor access. All of the cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone visiting Hannibal.

It wasn't anything fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. Service was good. Everyone was polite and welcoming.

I have to say, I have never stayed in a motel 6 where the rooms are all inside access. And the beds were so comfortable. Not sure what brand the sheets were but wow!!! The floora are vinyl planks and make more sense to have than yucky carpet. The towel holder at the bathroom sink was cute. Water pressure was good. Not sure why others complained about the street noise. It was very quiet on first floor here. Pillows extremely comfortable. Microwave/fridge included along with free ice. Super great value for the price! Will return again next year for sure! And Raj the owner is extremely professional!

The gentleman who checked us in was very personable and helpful. We were frustrated as called several other hotels and they did not match the price on their website but this was spot on! Rooms were clean and very nicely updated. Bed was very comfortable, clean sheets and blankets, towels were fine and very clean. Highly recommend!

Our stay was awesome, the rooms were clean yet a little out dated. You can tell they are upgrading one thing at a time. The only issue we had was the beds are old and not soft at all. We had to steal the pillows from the bed next to us to get comfortable. Other then that the staff was great very friendly and accommodating, and super happy with the fact that they don't charge for pets! That right there is a big seller.

Older motel. Decent internet. Clean room. Great bed. Great price 67.00. Deposit is required until they find out you didn't steal anything. As soon as they clean and clear your room, you get it back.

It's just off the hwy. Quiet , well lit parking lot, rooms are nice showers good air conditioning works rooms are clean I would give it a 7 out of 10

We stay about every 2 months for family get togethers. Owner now knows us and is always friendly. Rooms are average for the chain but always clean. Great location. Will stay again and again.

Big clean room with TV, dresser, desk, fridge, coffee maker, large bathroom & sink area, pet friendly... We came late & left early so $50 was a fair rate, I wish we would have had more time for the pool or coffee in the morning but we stopped in for a good night's sleep and that's what we got. Husband said they were very nice and accommodating. (Be sure to stop at the restaurant right next door if you want a fantastic breakfast!) We will definitely stay again when in Hannibal!

Very clean and well kept. My family thought I had booked a run down, bug infested place to sleep because it’s a motel but immediately found themselves taking back what they said after seeing the lobby and especially the room. Extra towels were given when needed and the beds were made when gone. The smoking/non smoking separation is a huge plus too. Great stay for our 3 day weekend.

Very impressed with our recent stay. Clearly the management takes pride in their property. Freshly painted, carpeting was spotless. No frills but that was to be expected with the price. Also loved the laminate flooring in our pet room. Only recommendation would be new pillows - they were very lumpy.

Excellent place to stay! First time ever at a Motel 6 and I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean. NO CARPET! Always a plus but very rare to find. We travel with 2 cats and I worry about them picking up fleas when there is carpet in the room. No extra charge for pets! Check in/ check out staff were friendly and helpful. Great value!

This hotel should be 5 star hotel. I had a reservation somewhere else and it was awful, so I called Motel 6 directly and the representative who answered the phone met my every need. When I checked in Tina was so helpful and kind, it was unbelievable! Even when I stay in a very high class hotel I do not get such great service.? Tina was amazing! I am handicapped and she gave me a room right next to the office. She helped me with my bags, was positive and you could tell by her smile and demeanor she was a compassionate, wonderful woman. I just cannot say enough about my stay. The beds were clean, they smelled clean, they were comfortable and it was quiet. I will definitely be staying here again when I come through Hannibal! Thank you so much for your help Tina, there should be more people like you in the hotel profession!!!!

Best motel 6 I've ever stayed at! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They allow pets to which I had 3 and they were very accommodating with a larg dog area behind the building. The rooms also smell very fresh and clean! No pet smell at all because the rooms are all hardwood/lament and tiled. You can also open the window for fresh air! Which sometimes you can't do in hotels/motels. The ac/heating unit also works great and doesn't smell funny.
Normally in cheaper hotels they have thinner walls and floors but it kept noises in the rooms really well! I couldn't hear anyone walking and talking around our rooms and the motel was pretty full when we stayed. Only down side is there is no breakfast but if you just need a quick stay or don't minde no breakfast i would %100 recommend this place, especially if you have a couple of pets.
So for a motel 6 I would rate this a 4.5 star stay over all because we loved it!!!
If I ever have to stop on the way through again I'll definitely stop and stay here :)

We made advance reservations, but, at the time didn't realize the solar eclipse was to occur, so even as far away as the motel was from the direct overhead path of the eclipse, it was sold out when we arrived, which was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one for the hotel, we're sure! The room was clean and we were quite surprised to find both a refrigerator and microwave in the room!!! And my wife was delighted that there was a hair dryer!! Bravo to this location for the extra amenities!! The large indoor pool was also a pleasant surprise.

As I was passing through town I got tired and just wanted to stop driving. I saw a few other well known hotels when I exited the highway, but didn't want to break the bank for a nap. Motel 6 stood out and I decided to go for it and was glad I did. I had a very nice relaxing stay! The room was super clean! The front desk guy who appeared to be management was very nice. The room he had originally gave me was sorta in the back and I decided it wouldn't be a good fit for me I was concerned for safety reasons. When he saw my car pull back up front it was like he read my mind and had another room to give me immediately. I was very pleased!! I will be back!!!

They were very accommodating for my needs as to needing a 1st floor room because of having an electric scooter. There was a problem with our 1st room and they immediately moved us to another room. The owners were very friendly & kind. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Everything worked as it was supposed to. I would recommend this motel to anyone coming to Hannibel.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the room and beds and wonderful customer service. There were two of us plus a Labrador Retriever. There was no extra charge or weight limit for our dog. Giving it 5 stars and a10 on all of the specific categories. We had never stayed there before. We do not know anyone associated with Motel 6 and this review is a voluntary (not a paid) one. We recommend them 100%.
