What a fun find after a long day of driving! Wonderful soup and sandwiches... Delightful atmosphere, with art and pottery and fun gifts. Absolutely will return any time we're in town

Great atmosphere! Coffee and pastries are amazing with an enormous selection. Fun novelties, souvenirs, and tea/coffee products. Highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.

Wanted Starbucks, but we're on a mission to support local. NO REGERTS. This was so amazing, filling, and felt good on the soul.

We stopped in for some coffee drinks and were blown away with how big this coffee shop is! I ordered a blended PB & and salted caramel drink. So good! My husband got the white milky way, which was recommended by one of the baristas, and he loved it! Friendly service and good drinks! They have a small shopping area for unique gifts and a very nice lounge area. I wish this place was in our neighborhood!

If you're in Downtown Hannibal and you need a quick pick me up, this is your spot. The coffee was tasty and you have plenty of flavor options to choose from. You can also order a sandwich and ice cream. Once you receive your coffee cup, its self serve and there are a variety of selections to choose from. I poured a medium roast called "Mississippi Mud" into my cup with my Irish Cream. After that I took a seat in there giant sitting area which was designed perfectly. This place is awesome. Get some tasty coffee here.

My first "office" of the day, I spent five hours at a table towards the back of the store with a coffee and a laptop and their Internet. Comfortable, mostly quiet and a good space. I bought a coffee and included a refill. The coffee was excellent.

Tempted by a croissant, I managed to stick to my program and just drink the coffee.

Great space, friendly folks and as the main coffee shop along the center of Hannibal, quite busy.

My husband and I moved to Hannibal a year and a half ago. Java Jive was one of our first stops and it did not disappoint. If you have been to Java Jive before, you know the magic. The food, the freshly baked treats, the cozy and friendly atmosphere... Java Jive has it all. If this is your first time trying Java Jive, I have some suggestions: Biscuits & Gravy (yes, seriously) they always give a generous amount of gravy and it is sausage heavy so it is quality! For a refreshing kick of energy try a white lotus with lemonade and lavender. My last "have to try item" is their pasta-kale salad... I'm sure anything you try at Java Jive will be delicious, but those are my top 3 items!

Very cute coffee shop with a large variety of drink and breakfast options including gluten free bread option for breakfast sandwiches. Their raspberry cold foam pistachio iced latte is AMAZING!

Visited with my wife, daughter and grandson. Food was very good and portion size was as expected. Everyone was pleased with their food. My daughter lives not to far outside Hannibal and recommended this place for us to visit

This cafe is an absolute gem. I have traveled to Hannibal, MO quite frequently for work. Every time I come to this town, I stay at the The Travelers Rooming House, right next door to Java Jive, and go to the cafe every day! The baked goods are always fresh and yummy. The breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches in general are delicious and BIG. I love the salads - especially in this area where good, fresh salads are very rare. The drip coffee is so-so - not my favorite, but it doesn't warrant one less star because I get espresso drinks instead which are great!

The gift shop in the cafe is one of the best. I always leave my work trips with items from the shop to give as gifts or keep for myself - like a beautiful pie plate that I use frequently!

IMO - the best restaurant in Hannibal. Consistent, delicious, fresh, with a wonderful gift shop! What's not to love?

Absolutely delightful little place! We’re here visiting out of town and have been here twice today. The breakfast was excellent i had a cranberry walnut muffin and my hubby had their daily special a pancake sandwich w/ bacon, cheese and spinach. Then we came back later for cheesecake and hot chocolate during the Chocolate Extravaganza event. Everything we had was great. We also love the cozy feel of the environment and the amazing creations on display for purchase. They have something for everyone and every budget.

Love it here! Great place to hang out as a college student. Not a fan of coffee in general, but I do know they have some bomb lotus's! Also, Rachel, is my absolute fav worker! I've maybe talked to one worker that was the slightest hint of not absolutely the most personable my years of coming here.

Amazing local coffee shop. Was able to accommodate my dairy allergy and modify multiple breakfast items, everything comes out quick as well. The iced cappuccino and breakfast bowl were amazing!

This is the one and only coffee shop in town; that being said they make great espresso drinks. The atmosphere is artistic and quirky. A great place to sit and relax if you need to get out of the house.

Very comfortable atmosphere! Family friendly. Lots of gorgeous pottery for sale. Big lounge space with sofas and comfy chairs. Really enjoyed coming here. Ordered mochas on the mug to improve experience!

Cozy coffee shop with great coffee, tasty food options, gifts and pottery for sale. The daily quiche was delish and the Monster breakfast sandwich was filling. Street parking is available in front. Nice way to start your day!

Not only is this place super cute with its eclectic mismatched dining sets it also has a great mix of quick gift items throughout the whole place. Some for the tourists (Thanks!) and some for the 'oops I have that baby shower later today!' Of course if its food weren't good that would defeat the purpose of it being a cafe first and boutique second. Luckily the food my friend and I had was delicious and fairly inexpensive. They also had my absolute favorite flavor of ice cream in stock, Blue Moon; so I might be a bit biased. Definitely worth a pass through, and a scoop or two!
